About Chitwan

Facilities

Ride to Chitwan was an uncertain ride because we were planning to visit Janakpur in a camper van but due to the influence of the coronavirus, we had to cancel because we were traveling in a group. As we were there only a few friends, therefore, decided to ride to Chitwan.

Here goes my personal experience as per the days.

Day 01: 2020 Mar 8 Bhaktapur - Chitwan.

The before the day of departure we cancel our plan to Janakpur due to rumor of coronavirus and this makes changes their mind not to travel during these hours'. I was so excited to visit over Janakpur but due to coronavirus, we had to cancel it. I was hurt that we had to cancel it but along with Rabi, Kevin, Sushant, and Anish we were planned to visit Janakpur by bike. Till afternoon I was not informed whether we were confirmed to move or not then, later on, I got messaged from Rabi that we weren't going and I was confirmed that ride was canceled. The next day I woke up with agony and at 930 AM I got called from Rabi to get ready for a ride to Chitwan, I was in shocked whether he was joking or serious. But without inquiry, I got ready where Kevin was there to receive me. We went to our junction Tachapal where Aashib along with RabiM was there. We convince them to join us but they refuse us so at 10:45 AM we move to Anish to join him. As reaching up there we thought that we might have an extra bike so Kevin thought to leave his scooter at my house and we moved to my house instantly. Kevin parks his scooter where we returned to Bysai and on the way to Suryemadhi we meet up Aashib and RabiM again. We were riding triple which making us difficult to cope but as reaching up Byasi we had to return to my house again to take Kevin scooter. Anish told me that he had to pick up his friend at Gongabu who was going to join us on this trip. We were informed us to meet up at Srijanagar so we move ahead from Byasi to Srinagar to join them. As we meet up we begin our trip to the west, this was our first ride to the west by bike before that we had traveled only by bus. We were so late that it had been 11 AM that when we resume our ride. I was riding with Rabi where Kevin and Anish were riding sole. At Koteshwor we moved to the south for Kalanki where Anish move north to Gongabu to receive his friend. I was feeling so happy that even being late we were having a ride in these holidays of Holi. I was recalling my previous ride to Sailung and Hetauda.This was our third ride of this year and we were only a few numbers. We were traveling in 50-60 mph due to which we reach Kalanki as our predicted time. At one point where we had to take left for a way to Thankot but Kevin move straight through the underpass, this was our first experience to pass from underpass of Kalanki. We three of us were feeling awesome to pass it for the first time but this was not our way to move for Thankot so we had to return taking short cut via alleys. It took us 15 minutes to get into the main roadway. At noon we meet Sushant he was waiting for us from 10 AM and after meeting up we begin our ride where we informed Anish to meet up at Thankot check post. I was riding with Rabi where he was sharing his travel moments and other incidents of his life. As we pass Tribhuvan Park he shared his life unforgettable moments where he felt loved and proposed for the first time with someone in the picnic we had in class 8. I was eager to know about the name of a girl but he was not revealing it. He informs me that I know her very well but I was feeling awkward who she was. From Tribhuvan park to till Thankot check-post, Rabi shared his life moments and I was unknown about his love story and other incidents because during our school I was not very close with him like presently we used to be and in this ride, I was having fun knowing his facts. We stop at the Thankot check post for 30 minutes to wait for Anish.

We three of were having chilling air which motivates us to ride as soon as possible to enjoy the ride. Sushant and Kevin were moving for Chitwan to attend his friend's wedding reception where Rabi and I were traveling for Jalbire waterfalls which were on the way to Chitwan. We waited for him for about 50 minutes which was making us late to move ahead. Anish and along with his friend Sam joined us at 1 PM we resume our ride. I was recalling my last trip to the far west where I was traveling by bus and on this trip, I was traveling by bike ride. I was having so well for having both experiences from bus and bike too. While riding going on I was staring at the north direction so that I can have view the beautiful scene of a mountain. As I expected the mountain ranges were in a clear mood. I was enjoying the ride along with a beautiful view of a mountain. On the way, we receive our last friend which was going to join us and his name is Kapin from Dhading. We ride for 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Malekhu where we had lunch. As I had entered the hotel my eyes caught by prawn and I hadn't tasted the prawn fish before and I was eager to taste it, Anish order the prawn along with local fried fishes'.

I was inspecting the prawn and even I asked how to have it. Everyone got a huge laugh knowing my unknowns about prawns. I found it tastes like a grasshopper and don't wish to have it more. While we were having lunch Anish and Sam were interacting about football leagues. Discussing was going on then they speak out goalmaal
 and Golbazar which attracts everyone's attention towards Anish. I knew about goalmaal but I was not clear about Golbazar and asked Anish about it where the rest of pals were already known about the place and its purpose. I asked about it and he told me that the place where u can have prostitution.OMG, everyone was laughing at me and I didn't expect it which was beyond imagination. He was urging us about prostitution and he even informed that he can manage it if we wish it. I was staring at him with surprise and request not to do so. Others were requesting him to call for a broker and I thought that he was just joking but he was calling the broker in the meantime. He even took a number from the broker so that he can call it at Chitwan. He was testing the numbers whether it was real or fake so he called it on and the phone ring was going but it was getting received. After having fun matters for the rest of the pals expect me at 3 PM we resume our trip until unless we reach Mugling. On the way, our bike petrol was running out due to which we had to ride a bike as soon as we can reach to the petrol pump. Riding for one hour we reach Mugling where we move to the hotel for tea. I found everyone was in exhaustion from a ride so after having teas we move ahead so that we can reach Chitwan before dusk. As our bike petrol was running out we need to visit the petrol pump but we were not able to found it and after crossing for a few meters we found the petrol pump at Mugling. There we refill our bike in full mode and move for Chitwan. I was directing Rabi and informing about the road, the highway was so good that we increase our speed.OMG at one point after crossing Jalbire waterfalls, we nearly going to face serve accident where Rabi thought to overtake from left side thinking that even jeep was going to overtake the truck. In the same moment's vehicles from another side arrived due to which jeep turn to left, as a result, we were nearly going to hit by a jeep. Thanks to Rabi's balance and tricks to get rid out of the accidents that we survive having sufficient space to turn to the left side. Then onwards Rabi ride safely manner, but our speed was rising than before. I was noticing the speed of the bike at the point our speed reach up to 90 mph. I haven't ridden at such a high speed while riding our normal speed was 70-80mph. We reach at Mahendra highway at 430 PM, I was in this highway after a month while moving to the far west in November. I was informing Rabi that if we took right we'll reach west of Nepal and left for the east side of Nepal. We took left and get down for having light tiffin. After getting down from bike we thought that we were at Banepa. Everyone was describing the same place as Banepa because the way of house and environment was similar to Banepa. We entered the hotel where we had light tiffin and at 5 PM we depart for Chitwan. We took our first group picture and from here Kevin move to the west to meet his college friend at Narayani riverside.

We move to Sauraha with joys and wishes to see a rhino on the way to Sauraha. At Hakimchowk near to Bharatpur airport, I saw mountains that were quite surprising to us. I notice it for the first time and before I never had noticed it. I was so amazed to view the mountain from terai. We were traveling at our normal speed and we reached at Rapti river at 6 PM, before that we move in search of the hotel but we didn't get as per our budget. So to get fresh and even to wait for Kevin we visited Rapti riverside. Before ordering something I inform that stuffs over here is too expensive therefore we order as cheap as mention on the menu. We got called from Kevin that he was waiting for us at the hotel. We move to the hotel where he was waiting for us as and meeting up we move to the hotel where Kevin along with his friend was staying. We were wishing for a garden but as we reach the hotel we just get shocked that we were at the hotel or the hostel. We were not satisfied with the place therefore we returned to the same place where we wished to stay. We returned to the hotel Chitwan Gaida lodge and get fresh to move for dinner. While we were getting ready for night walk Anish was being busy to called her that he got from a broker. I was feeling awkward but luckily his plan was cancel due to the absence of her in Chitwan and I was thinking if she was here I don't know what may be the action of Anish. But his plan was cancel and we have a huge laugh over him then at 730 PM we depart for dinner and on the way we move to the local shop for drinks there we found beer taste like water due to which we had a confrontation with the shop owners. We cleared the bill and move in search of budget-able hotels' meanwhile I was informing Rabi to spent well because here every shop and the hotels are too expensive than we imagined. While we were moving Kapin got from his pals that he has passed his engineering. We congratulate him and we even assumed that Aashib might have cleared his engineering. Anish, Sushant, and Sam were getting jealous that their result has been postponed so they were still far away to be an engineer. We were having very funny and sarcastic moments because we're moving and in search of the hotel but we didn't get as per our budget. We enter the nearby hotel and I knew Rabi was not expecting that it ll cross our budget because he was visiting Chitwan for the first time and he was unknown about the price rate over here. As we move to the hotel nearby riverside on the way of Kevin hotel. I was surprised to see Kevin along with a friend. I was introduced by Kevin with friends and I got shocked when I knew that everyone was certified CA. So I thought to adjourn these guys and joined my sarcastic pals. Before ordering I was informing each pal to be aware of the bills which shouldn't cross our budget. We stayed there for about 2 hours and a dose of alcohol rises I found everyone begins to get hyper. Sushant begins his indigestible 2 crores showoff speech. We were enjoying his act and he even didn't notice what he was speaking out. This makes us fun that we had a great laugh and timely I was awaking Rabi about the bill he told me that we had crossed our budget. Hearing that I just informed everyone to stopped order but our hunger wasn't getting cool so we decide to have dinner but as I was only one wishing to had it. Therefore we had naans along with chicken curry and I found everyone was hungry as I saw they just attacked over the naans and curry when it was served. I was having fun along with getting tension about bills. It was 1030 PM so we decided to move to the hotel. The real fun begins when we were out of our budget and we had to clear the bill mandatory. Everyone was taunting each other's but we had not enough money so we called Kevin for help and he even was in out of budget but he helps he could.

Now everyone stared over Sushant where he was chanting about 2 crores and he even informs that he eared 2 lakh per month. But he didn't contribute as much he should and he can. We somehow manage to clear the bills after onward everyone was acting as there is no restriction. Anish was inspecting the act of Taiwanese he even informed us to view the uncensored acts. He was enjoying the act from the time we arrived here. I was getting so mad that I was feeling we were in detention where we had to laugh even in serious matters. Sushant moves to interact with Taiwanese and speaks out "where did you coming to hotel from Nepal" instead of where did you come from. Along with Kapin and me we had ROFL which makes over that we can't control our laugh meanwhile surround was getting wilder I shout out "Corona – Corona please beware guys. Hearing this word automatically surrounding get shut down from noise to peace and I saw everyone was staring at me. I was getting nervous so instantly I asked excuse with everyone and move for Kevin's hotel. We were moving ahead making noise which was making disturbance for local people. I request everyone to slow down our noise but no was caring about my request. It was 300 m from the hotel to reach Kevin's hotel. As we reach the hotel we found everyone had already slept out. We introduce each other's and after a few minutes of interactions, we move back to our hotel which was 20 minutes walk from Kevin hotel. Before moving to the hotel on the way we again visit Rapti riverside to view night twinkling star.

Staying for a few minutes we decide to get back where we found we were the only guys to walk on the street. Walking about 300 m we reached to our hotel but we found the gate has been lockdown. We begin to crawl down from the gate and hearing our noise staff of the hotel approach toward us and asked for confirmation that we were the actual guest of the hotel. I spoke out room name along with room number and for confirmation, he moves to guard. He moves to guard room for keys and he found that the guard has slept out so he asked to crawl down from gates. We begin to crawl to enter the hotel this act makes us laugh until and unless we reach our room. Even reaching the hotel room we were having continuous fun by ragging each other. It was continued for 30 minutes and at midnight we slept peaceful enjoying the dose of drinks.

The day ends with fun and taunting with each other. This was my first experience to have night-out being freak out and enjoy the night fully that I haven't enjoyed like before on another trip or ride.

Day 02: 2020 Mar 9 Chitwan- Narayani riverside - Jalbire – Bhaktapur

Today is the days where we welcomed spring season playing with colors and today we only played in the mountains region of Nepal and day after tomorrow in the terai region i.e. Holi- the fest of colors. The second day of the trip which going to be quite expensive than yesterday's ride because we were already out of our budget due to this we may not have fun like the day before the ride. As per the plan, we had to wake up at 6 am but no had woke up due to hangovers of last night drinks'. I woke early in the morning to have a morning view where I found a foggy environment. I was wishing to move Rapti riverside so that we may be able to view wild animals near river banks. It took us 2 hrs to depart from the hotel and before departing everyone packs their bags. I was chanting "oh bhai maro maro mujhe" which was making fun for the rest of the pals. Everyone was busy snapping the moments where Rabi snapped my pictures but we didn't snap our group picture. At 8 AM we check out from the hotel we move to clear the bills and before leaving everyone was enjoying the garden of the hotel. Yesterday we saw only one hammock but today's there were two hammocks Rabi and Anish slept over there for shooting and snapping the moments. Afterward, we move to the parking area where we park our bike and then we resume our ride visiting Rapti river banks. Like before I saw the mountains which were clear than yesterday's view from Hakim chowk.

Rabi was enjoying the surrounding this was his first morning in the Chitwan where the rest of us were chilling out discussing what might be the name of that mountains. From there we move to Kevin hotel to receive him but he informed us to move ahead because he was going to return to Kathmandu with his CA friends. Without wasting time we move to Narayani river banks, we reach there at 930 AM and reaching there I begin to search cruise and I was not getting instead we can view lots of motorboats. I interact with the staff of the motorboat about the cruise and he replied it is under construction process. So we had to drive a motorboat instead of a cruise. We wore a life jacket than move for a boat ride which was only for 15 minutes paying Nrs 200 each. This was our first experience to ride motorboat we were enjoying the drive but I was enjoying viewing another motorboat ride which was being driven at high speed even it was showing the stunts which provoke our driver to perform as like another boat.

Driving for 15 minutes we returned to river banks I was willing to drive to Devghat but due to a low level of water motorboat driver denied my request. We took rest for a few minutes then we move ahead in search of a hotel. Like before the day the traffic was lesser and even shops were shut down due to Holi. We were moving ahead and on the right side of the Chitwan bus park, we decided to have our lunch. While lunch was getting ready we discuss our last night acts and moments which added fun for us till lunch arrived. I was feeling passive than before due to which I stay silent and begins to think about our budget. All my expenses are bear by Rabi and we had crosses our budget then our expectations. I was not willing to increase the bills due to which I was not ordering anything to expect lunch. We had our lunch at 11 am and we were so glad to have such a wonderful lunch. I was enjoying lunch with plenty of chicken stock. After having lunch we get ready to move ahead but I was feeling passive than before due to which I was not interacting with my pals. Rabi called me to get into the bike I was not responding to him instead I request him to drive well to get rid out from undesirable act like then yesterday ride. We were moving for Jalbire which our last destination and it took around 1 hour 30 minutes ride to reach Jalbire. Today the speed was higher than yesterday's ride. We were driving in 80-90 mph due to which we reach our destination earlier than we expected. After reaching up Jalbire checkpoint we still had to move few meters ahead to reach the water but the way was too off-road due to which I had to get down from the bike. Before that, we paid the entrance fee per bike Nrs 100 and move ahead. After getting down from bike we still had to walk for a few meters to reach the base of waterfalls. As reaching waterfalls I saw lots of people were enjoying playing Holi and swimming in the waterfall pond. Expect, me everyone moves for pond and I was snapping their pictures. There were lots of people due to which we had to wait to swim in the pond. Staying there for 30 minutes we decided to get back to Bhaktapur. Before leaving the waterfalls we took our last group of the trip then I begin to move forward while they were getting ready.

I was enjoying the solo walk and I begin to think about the rest of the pals who were planning to celebrate Holi in Changu. I called Aashib to know about the situation he replied they were enjoying the moments and even informed us to return as soon as possible. Then after I called Kevin to wait for us but he answers he was moving for rafting which makes me surprise. Kevin requests us to join him but due to the low budget, I denied his requests and informing him that we will move to Bhaktapur. It was 10 minutes ride from Jalbire to Mugling which means the total distance from Narayanadh to Mugling is 36 km and even the road condition is in good form due to which we reach Mugling as per we expect time. We were driving continuous for one hour then we get rest only at Malekhu. The temperature was so hotter due to which it was making us difficult to ride. We took a break for 30 minutes at nearby hotels having cold drinks'. I was being called from Sajan, where he informed me that they were at Dolalghat but I was sure that he might be joking with me. We had about 5 minute's interactions incall and I forcedly cut off his call to move ahead. It was 72 km to Kathmandu from Malkehu and we begin our ride making Naubise as our last checkpoint. I was not enjoying the moments due to the hectic continuous ride. I was having to serve pain in my back due to which I was making disturb for Rabi while riding the bike. I was just praying for the break so that we may get rest but we did not have to reach Kathmandu as soon as possible. While riding uphill's my eyes caught by mountains which were clear than yesterday I was staring at the mountainside and to divert mind I was staring it until and unless I could see it. At 415 PM we reached Naubise where we had our last teas from there we decided to get adjourn from each other. We enter nearby hotels to have tea and while teas were getting we discuss our ride from Malekhu to till now. Everyone was sharing their own experience where I was just getting worried about hairs because as reaching I was going to cut off my hairs. I was combing by hairs continuously due to which everyone was having huge laughs. I was still getting passive like before because I was getting nerve pain in my back and I was not willing to travel further by bike. But unwantedly we had to ride the bike to reach home and at 430PM we resume our trip farewelling each other. Rabi speeds up to reach Bhaktapur as soon as possible to reach Changu where the rest of the pals were waiting for us. I was informing Rabi to ride well but we found the road was empty than yesterday due to which we still had higher speed. But as we were getting closer to the residential area the crowd rising even vehicle were in large numbers. We were traveling in normal speed and Rabi asked where to get out from the Kalanki I urge him to round up the center traffic police stand then we may reach another side to reach Bhaktapur Last day we had to mislead the way due to this today we were much more aware of not misleading the way. As we crossed Kalanki we get excited to reach Changu because we were ahead than our expected time. Today the vehicles were in few numbers compare to last day numbers of vehicles. Rabi was ensuring me that we may reach Changu but I was getting confused when I called Sajan, he answered me we had to visit but due to unclear voice I heard not to visit there. I was getting difficult to interactions incall while riding the bike so I message him to get confirmation to visit Changu or not. We reached Rabi home at 545 PM and we get ready to move for Changu. The environment of Bhkatpur was so cheerful and full of musical instruments. People over here are celebrating Holi as per there styles and as noon goes up the celebration rises. We move to Changu but we found less celebration at Changu than Bhaktapur. We were still calling Sajan to get exacts locations of hotels where they were staying for a day out. We reach the hotel at 6 PM they were so happy to meet them after 24hrs from the day we adjourn from each other. As reaching up there I snapped their pictures for memories, they playing cards and even they were getting ready to get back home.

I was interacting with each every member of mount valley. And with curiosity, I asked Sajan about Dolalghat he answered below of this hotel there is a place name called Dolalghat. Knowing this I had a good laugh and see my laugh he even laugh with joy. I was offered rice beer but its taste was not good due to which I didn't enjoy it and the remainings amount has to waste. We stayed there for about 30 minutes and at 630 PM we check out from the hotel for there. Everyone was on a trip due to this we had to escort them to get free form traffic. We were riding in slow mode and as we knew that there wasn't traffic police we speed up to reach home. On the way, I request Rabi to drop me at my home but he was not willing me to leave but I was insisting him. At 630 PM I got called from Kevin he informed me that he was returning home and at the same moments he was Nausbise. I wish him for a safe drive and we cut off our phone this how my uncertain ride to Chitwan was ended up.

Overall this ride was quite expensive for me than I thought due to which I had thought all the time about the budget instead of enjoyments. I was thanking Rabi for his cooperation and wishing for further in the future too.
