Traveling to far-west of the Terai region was my desire from childhood when we used to learn the draw the map of Nepal and locate the places as per mention in the questions while studying social studies till class 10. It took years to reach over here and I got the chance to visit when I meet Woosha at my master’s level. As I know she was from Kailali district (covers a maximum area with forest but no national park or protected area) I begin to dream about the Chadani-Dodhara Bridge and Karnali Bridge which I was eagerly waiting for a visit. It took two years to reach over there I mean after completion of our master exam we planned to visit over the bridges which I was looking for a visit and my experiences are below as per date and places.

Day 1-2 2019 Nov 2 -3 Saturday- Sunday

Ø  BKT- KTM – Sukkhad -  GhodaGhodi Lake - Maghi Homestay
This was the first day as well the second day of the trip which began from my home. Urgently Woosha informed me to get ready for departing to Kailali. She planned to move far-west Terai whenever she got discharged from the hospital. She planned instantly which make me difficult to cope with her. She booked a ticket for today of 3.30 pm., hurriedly I packed my bag for departing to Bus Park. At 11:55 am I caught a bus for Bus Park which took 1:30 minutes to reach Bus Park. I was excited to travel to Kailali because it was going to be my first ever travel in the far west of the Terai region. Even it was going to be my first ever longest night travel. While I was moving to Bus Park I was thinking about Mahendra highway the longest highway of Nepal (1024 km) because previously I hadn’t crossed Mahendra highway from Chitwan and from Kapilvastu district that’s why I was excited to experience the night travel in Mahendra highway. I reached the bus park at 1:15pm and began to roam the bus park I was at the bus park after 5 years (I was here in 2013 for trekking to ABC). I was roaming the bus park and in order, to spend the time I got off from the bus park but while I was moving I was noticed by Woosha and I got back to meet her. I was feeling excited to travel as soon as possible. But we had to wait until 3pm because we would be moving to Kailali only at 3pm. till then we discussed our travel and other travel experiences for an hour until our bus was ready for departure. I was feeling so excited to get into the bus because I hadn’t traveled on such a large bus before and I was eagerly waiting to seat on the bus. I was so surprised to view vacant bus we were only 12 passengers. I asked Woosha about the reason behind it. She replied, “It’s not a season to travel to home but instead it’s a time to get returned back to Kathmandu from home”. She informs me, “The bus will be a crowd when it’s a time of returning from Kailali to Kathmandu. So she suggested I get ready for the struggle to face a crowded bus after my completion of travel in order to get back. At 3.30pm, our bus departed from the bus park for Sukhad- the home town of Woosh. I was feeling free and happy to travel for the desired place. We were traveling sharing our colleges’ memories and thesis. The bus speed was gaining up which eagerly make to reach Mugling because the night light and movement of the bus seemed as picturization which I had noticed when I was returned from the Pokhara before one year and I was wishing for the same picturization. Everything was going as per our planning and as I knew we were going to enter Mahendra highway by Chitwan I was getting excited than before. At 7pm we reached Mugling, where I found the night light was cooler than I had expected. I was recalling my last trek along with other travel memories. I was listening to the Nepali song “Phoola haina” which I was wishing to listen to in Prtihivi highway this was making me feel better than I was wishing from the day I heard this song. I was continuously listening up the same songs but I was not feeling to get rid out of it instead of it I listened persistently. As night rises up I was getting colder than I expected. So, I wore everything that I carried for travel. I was in many more queries but Woosha was having sleep so I didn’t disturb her and continued to enjoy night travel view and listening to the music. At 9 pm we reached Phulchowk where our bus fueled. After crossing a few meters, we arrived at the hotel for our dinner at Palpa hotel. I was so stunned to view the vacant hotel. We were only 12 passengers along with bus staff and we spent 30 minutes there then I called up home for informing where I reached and where I was going further. From Phulchowk, Dhangadhi ( sub-metropolitan city and headquarter of Kailali district) was 520 km far away and it took 8 hours to reach up there ( Sukkhad of Kailali district). Everyone was feeling sleepy but I was sleepless because I wanted to view the night travel and know the place where we were moving further. For one hour I tried to sleep but I was not able to do so. Insistently I closed my eyes for rest and at 11pm I woke up and knew that we had already crossed the Lumbini (the birthplace of Gautam Buddha).  Onwards Lumbini I hadn’t crossed Mahendra highway and traveling for 15mintues from Lumbini we reached Taulihawa of Kapilvastu district (Palace of king Sudhodhan the father of Gautam Buddha). I was recalling my tour of tourist guide training 2018 when I had visited Lumbini for the first time and then after that visit, I was crossing Lumbini. Afterward, I was unknown about the place where we were traveling, and like before I was sleepless and began to listen up my favorite music. I was enjoying the night travel. As night was rising up I was so excited to know whether the same driver was driving or the next driver new and I found the same driver driving the bus. I was much more getting disturbed because our bus was playing rocking music in loud volume due to this I was sleepless up to 2pm, then afterward I just fell asleep. After sleeping for hours I woke with blur visibility where I found we were traveling in the middle of the forest. We reached Bardiya (the home of the tiger) at 4am and on the way, I saw a couple of deer and I was wishing for a tiger but it was the rare case to view the tiger crossing the road. Woosha shared her experience that she got a chance to view tiger when she traveled Kathmandu for the first time on the highway of Bardiya, crossing the road. The path was so straight that the bus was traveling at its higher speed. I was feeling so sleepy but I saw the tower I felt so surprised because I was unknown that we were crossing the Karnali Bridge. This bridge lies between Kailali and Bardiya which is the third-longest bridge of Nepal designed in single cable design with distance 500 meters. At 630 am our bus parked for breakfast then we hurriedly approached to bridges for snapping the picture I was so happy to be at Karnali bridge. I was surprised to have windy weather so hurriedly Woosha snapped my pictures and get into the bus back for moving ahead.
While we were getting into the bus I was uploading the picture on Facebook to inform that I was at Karnali Bridge. We reached Sukkhad at 7am which was our expected time and reaching up we got off from the bus then walking a few kilometers we reached the home of  Woosha where I took rest for an hour before moving to Ghoda-ghodi lake. At 11 am we moved for Ghoda-ghodi lake and I was escorted by Jay BC brother of Woosha. He was briefing about a place and the weather of Sukkhad, side by side he was describing Ghoda-ghodi lake. Walking 700 m from Woosha home, we reached the main road where we took an auto to reach Ghoda-ghodi lake and in 3 minutes we reached Ghoda-ghodi lake. Getting down from the auto, first, we move to roam the religious site of an area then we moved for boating he was informed we could see a crocodile in the pond but I was not hoping for it in the pond where we were moving for boating. I was enjoying the boating but little fear was there because as we reached the next corner of the pond we saw a crocodile. Viewing crocodile I was in despair due to this I requested Jay in order to turn back to the starting point of the boating area. I was not expecting crocodile in the pond but we got a chance to view it which added memory in the trip.
Then after getting back to the main road, we moved for Maghi homestay which was 4 km far from the highway. In order to reach homestay, we even took an auto and in about 30 minutes we reached homestay. As reaching up there I phoned the president of the homestay in order to receive me and due to un-confirmation, I was calling him staying in front of his home. We interacted for minutes then afterward Jay left for his duty from the homestay. I felt lonely when he shook hands and left me. Then I began to interact with the president of the homestay as the conversation goes for a long period I was surprised when he informed me that they were still deprived of electricity facilities’. I questioned with curiosity how it was possible to be connected with the main highway. He answered that they contracted through with co-operative instead of Nepal electricity authority. Due to a lack of electricity water facilities in the bathroom even having modern bathroom facilities it was seemed useless. He took me to the hall of their homestay where they used to conduct training and other program but it was like only a room because without electricity supply the electric things were being useless. He was sharing SWOT of Maghi homestay where I was consoling him to stay positive. I found being deprived of electricity there life had been so harsh and uneasy. At 3 pm I was referred to home no. 4 of Mayadevi where I took rest for 2 hrs. I was feeling sleepy because of sleepless last night. At 5pm Mahesh came to meet me where we discussed tourism in the far west. He was so hopeful for better tourism here and hoping for making it better than before. Discussing for hours he took me for dinner and I was so surprised to be treated as per their tradition they used to offer guest lunch at the door. I was feeling so awkward and knowing my oddness Mahesh described that Tharu used to offer lunch at the door for a guest. I was happy to have delicious chicken curry, veg curry, and even lentil too but the rice was being unusual to swallow. I enjoy the lunch having a conversation with Mahesh and after dinner, I requested Mahesh for sleep so he showed up my room and he left for his home.
This was my first and second day which was covered with unexpected fun and slightly lonely day. Being sleepless in last night I was so exhausted due to this I felt asleep soon but before going to bed I wrote today experience in my daily diary for memories.

DAY 3 - Nov 4 Monday

Ø  Maghi Home stay – ChadanidDodhara - Sukhlaphanta Nationl park-Sukkhad
Today was the third day of the trip which was going to be busiest because today we were going to visit Chadani-Dodhara and Sukhlaphanta and additional Mahakali Bridge and Sidha-Llingeswor etc. Yesterday night was quiet sleepless because there was no door in my room and I was scared that something might come to attack but it was just my misconception and fear that something might happen. I woke up early in the morning to move for Chadani-Dodhara and Sukhlaphanta. At 6am I woke up and called Mahesh for payment of homestay. He informed me that he is arriving and I waited for him for 45 minutes. After arriving he handover register to write something about suggestions to reduces the problem in my next visits. I listed the required facilities that I had known after a conversation with the president and Mahesh. Handing over the register I even cleared the bill. Before moving out I was farewell with tika and flower by homestay owner.
Mahesh came to drop me and I found there was not any auto. I was hoping for a bike or auto so that I could get down as soon as possible. I got a phone from Woosha that she was ready to depart for Attariya. I informed to depart after I reached the highway and waiting for 10 minutes I got auto and it took 30 minutes to get down. Reaching highway I called Woosha to move from Sukkhad for Attariya. I waited for 15mintues and at sharp 8am I got into the bus where I met Woosha then we moved for Aattriya. Oh my god! After crossing 8 km from Ghodaghodi lake we viewed the dead body in the Pahalmanpur market which was hit by a truck in the last night and it was in the same condition which made it unusual to view it. Local people were protesting and they just blocked road due to which everyone on the bus was despair but the driver knew the way to reach another side of the road from the middle of the forest. The driver was driving as per his experience then as we reached the road, local people were also there who had already blocked down the road. Then it was the condition where we were not able to return back neither move forward because we stuck at mid of the forest. Suddenly, local people were coming driving tractor they escorted us to way. We were in the forest for 45 minutes searching for the way while we were in the jungle we were worried that if we had to get retuned back our plan would hamper but even lately driver brought us on the highway. After reaching highway we traveled freely with joy and I was much more excited because we were so close to our destinations i.e Chandani-Dodhara. I was feeling so excited but my excitement diminished when I found a leech in my right leg. From the time I was on the bus, I was feeling the itching sensation in my leg and as it went extreme I checked out my leg and I found blood in my leg. I was confirmed that there might be leech then I untied shoes and I found leech which had fully sucked up blood. Viewing leech Woosha just adjourned from my side where we were sitting. I cleared the wounded part and forgot about it. Afterward, I got a phone from my father, he just wanted to know about the conditions so I handed over mobile to Woosha. She cleared everything and controlled the situation. Then after onward, I was free and my excitement resumed which was higher than before when we reached Attariya. Getting down from bus we got into Hiace van for moving Mahendranagar (headquarter of Kanchanpur district). At 10:15 am we moved for Mahendranagar which was 42 km far from Attariya. We were at the front seat so I got a chance to play the music as per my mobile playlist. Driver asked,” Is this Madarasi song?” I answered him and even questioned how he knew it ‘Madarasi’ and he answered that it sounded different. I   played the south Indian songs which were eager to play in the vehicle since I was in a vehicle. I was enjoying the travel and didn’t notice we were at Mahendranagar bus stop. We reached as per time predicted by my driver and it took one hour to reach Mahendranagar from Attariya. After that we moved in search of auto for Chadani-Dodhara and while we were searching two biker chants Chadani-Dodhara because they were working as Chadani-Dodhara bike lifer in a certain amount of fare. I was surprised to have a better facility for my desirable destination i.e Chadani-Dodhara. We denied their request and moved for auto then walking for a few meters we caught up an auto that was going to depart for Chadani-Dodhara. We disclosed our today’s plan to the driver and he advised us to book him for a day paying Nrs.2000. We consoled him that we would answer him on the way. Then we moved for Chadani-Dodhara while we were moving I was analyzing the fare where Woosha was calculating the time. Then we came with the decision that we would accept his advice because if we denied his idea we might lose the time while searching another auto as well as the fare might hike too. We found our auto driver was diplomatic and worked for the betterment of his passengers. We reserved him for the whole day because Woosha added two destinations unplanned (Mahakali bridge and Sidhalingeswor) after she found plenty of time from her calculations. I was getting excited to step on the bridge which I was dreaming from the last two years since I met Woosha. We took the subway then we moved via the airport I was surprised to view the runway as subway and grazing area for cattle. I asked the driver for the pathetic reason he even didn’t know the answer. He answered it was the same from the day he knew the place.
At 12 PM we reached Chadani-Dodhara and reaching up there I phoned for Aashib, Sabina and my mother. Afterward, I ran at the bridge to enjoy the moment but I was getting disturbed by the bike which was passing through the bridge. Bikers were riding at high speed due to which walker was getting disturbed and creating a problem for walking. Chandani-Dodhara connects two VDC of Nepal which over the next part of the Mahakali river. We spent aorund1 hours and 45 minutes to get up-down. Woosha was snapping my pictures and she was informed to get down soon so that we could manage time to reach Mahakali Bridge and Lingeswor. After reaching up at the parking area we met with the driver then we moved for light tiffin. Afterward, we speed up for Mahakali bridge but before that, we visited Sukhalaphanta National Park from the airport way.
We spent there for only 15 minutes snapping pictures along with collecting brochures from the office. Afterward, we got back to auto and depart for Mahakali Bridge. It took 40 minutes to reach Gaddachauki from Sukhalphanta then the driver informed us to get in the bridge by walking or from another auto. While we were moving we received a call from Maiti Nepal booth they took us to the booth and began the interrogation. We showed up our ID card and license but still, they were interrogating suspiciously. We cleared out everything but they were not convinced and after their discussion they allowed us to move ahead. I was so stunned to get such suspicious interrogation and being curious I asked Woosha why they suspected in such manner even we were being honest to them. She answered that it was for our security. But I was not convincing. I replied,” It is not good in fact safe to walk boy and girl in the border area.” She was not answering me and being silent we moved forward for Mahakali Bridge. I saw women were carrying goods from India border along with I saw India gate and custom office in Nepalese territory. I was so surprised to view that I was feeling why we were dominated by India. There was strict security checking process for Nepalese. I found we are being treated as refugees or beggars. I   was not feeling good since the suspicious interrogation from the Maiti Nepal booth. It took 35 minutes to reach the endpoint of Mahakali Bridge and Woosha informed showing up the canal that was belonged to India and meanwhile what Nepal. India received 10 canals where Nepal received only 1 canal from the Mahakali river. While I was middle of the bridge I found Mahakali had been blocked by the bridge I saw an overflow of getting blocked by a dam which was built by the British in 1928.

It was so fascinating to view the Mahakali riverside by there was the pain of getting domination. At the endpoint of the bridge, I viewed the wideness of canal flowing River of Mahakali River in India seemed like a river but in Nepal, it seemed like only a dam. I informed Woosha to get in our land soon because I was feeling as I was in detention so we speed to get back in Nepal side. I was not fresh until we reached the Nepal side and automatically mood changed. I felt good to breathe in Nepalese air and before crossing Gaddchauki I snapped pictures for memories then we moved on in search of our auto (610 number plates). I was sharing my experience with Woosha. In order to change my mind, she described our upcoming destination i.e Sidhalingeswor. It was 5.6 km far from Mahendra highway lied in Daiji. It took 50 minutes as predicted by the auto driver; the way was like I was traveling to Changu from Dekhocha of Bhaktapur. The destination seemed like rocks of mustang and as we got nearer we found that rocks were under the process of being soil. I found such peace in my mind which motivated to be happy from the peaceful environment.
We spent there for about 20 minutes. Woosha informed us we must reach the highway within 6 pm so that we could get a bus back to Sukkkhad. We snapped our pictures before getting down I was enjoying the moment and at 5:20 we departed to the highway. Our speed of auto was being higher so that we could get down before dusk and we reached highway 10 minutes earlier then we predicted the time. Before adjourning with the driver we cleared our bill and took pictures for memories with Prem Khadka the auto driver. We were so happy to choose the understandable driver. He supported and advised whenever we were in the problem.
Afterward, we caught up Hiace van to get back to Attrariya. I was enjoying the travel which reminded me as if I was traveling in Kotoswor, Kathmandu as well as reminded me of college time when I used to get a hurry to get the return to back home from college as soon as possible. I was recalling my whole day travel listening to my favorite songs. I was feeling so happy to be the places where I was wishing to be there. I found Woosha was getting worried about vehicles to get back to Sukkhad because it was 630pm when we reached Aattariya. Reaching Attraiya she just walked hurriedly I asked why we were walking so hurriedly. She answered to catch up on the bus and knowing that I also ran to get the bus. But as we approached, the bus had just departed from the bus stop. Then we waited for 10 minutes for the buses but we were not getting the bus. One of the trucks was stopped by traffic police we thought for checking purpose but traffic commanded to get in the truck. We were so thankful to traffic police then Woosha just got relax that we would get home soon. Traveling in the truck was our first experience I found so good to travel in a truck. We never had traveled in a truck before. We were having good experience in a truck. Through traveling in a truck I got a chance to view its interior. We were looking at the milestone in order to know how far to reach home. I was recalling day and night travel on the same road which was quite different from unexpected experiences. I felt morning travel was lengthy with despair but evening travel was short even relax due to darkness and unknown about where we were currently passing by the road. While we were returning we worried that road might get blocked if last day accident had not solved but we found everything was normal when we reached the accidental area. Sukkhad was 8 km far from the accidental area so we felt relief that we were going to reach home on time. Traveling for one hour from Attariya then stepped down at Sukkhad where it was 700 m walk from the main road to reach home. Before moving home we got into the hotel in order to buy chicken curry. While the curry was getting ready I became busy browsing Facebook after two days which had added good memories in my travel. I posted my pictures and used Facebook for 30minutes then we got ready to move for home. After reaching home we became fresh in order to have our dinner. I was sharing my experiences and last night dinner at a homestay which was nice and hoping that I requested Woosha to serve me dinner soon. But I was surprised to have hard meat of Pyron breed. I just became sad that my excitement level diminished to zero. Woosha was surprised to view my reaction. As to console, she told me to offer delicious lunch the next day. I just shook my head and had dinner being silent. Then after I went to my room for sleep and before sleep, I wrote up my daily experiences listening to songs and at 9 pm I stopped my pen and went to bed.
This was the third day of my travel which was the busiest day I visited the places where I was wishing to visit along with additional places due to plenty of time. The whole day was full of pressure with joy from the earlier in the morning tonight. I was so happy to have better experiences within the time frame.

Day 4 2019 Nov 5 Tuesday

Ø  Sukkhad - Karnali Bridge - Bardiya National park
It was my fourth day and probably the last of the trip. Today I was moving for the last destination of trip i.e Bardiya national park, the home of the tiger. Yesterday was the busiest day of my trip. I was exhausted due to traveling for the whole day. Therefore I was expecting good sleep but I didn’t have it due to fog dropping from leaves of trees of Woosha’s house. It was like heavy rainfall so it disturbed me whole night due to which I was sleepless but kept my eyes close insisting so that I could have rest. I was waiting for the morning because I could go outside to enjoy the morning view. At 6 am I went outside but surrounding was covered with heavy fog then I returned to my room and began to use 100MB that I got free from ncell after recharging Nrs 100s.I was feeling relieved to have a 100MB package of the internet which made me easy to spend time with fun. At 630 am Woosha brought tea for me I took the first sip which tasted like excessive sugar but as I sipped continuously and I found it…. good. I felt like Horlicks so I moved to meet her for getting extra tea but she was missing. I sat on the chair and thought about Kathmandu and Kailai lifestyles which were totally different than I expected for it. I was walking nearby pond to view the surrounding but due to unchanged weather, I returned to the room and began to write travel experience in my daily diary. As per last night's discussion, Woosha was getting ready to make delicious lunch for me and she even informed she was cooking Ghongi (snail) for me as well as chicken curry. As I saw chicken I requested her so that I could cook chicken. She noticed my interest when we had lunch offered by Goma madam during the time we were as an intern at the airport. I liked to cook chicken so in order to cook it I checked the required ingredient and I found chicken spice was missing. So I went market to buy it.I was enjoying the morning walk and surroundings. I felt I was on my farm because I was having the same feeling which I used to have whenever I used to visit my field farm in my town. At 9 am we began to cook lunch for us. I was feeling good that I cooked chicken in my own way and while cooking was going on we were discussing today’s plan and I was waiting for her brother who was going to take me Bardia national park. I was expecting he would be junior to me but I was happy when Eoosha informed me that he was much more jolly than me. His name was Hitten and he was police and his posting was in Sanepa, Kathmandu. After chicken got ready we had our lunch so that we could move the national park on time. I tasted ghungi (snail)for the first time which tasted like raw meat so I stopped to have it but have a good lunch with chicken curry. At 10 am we departed for the national park which was 50 km far from Sukkhad. We were traveling via Mahendra highway before that we filled the petrol for a scooter. Then we sped up to reach Bardiya national park. While we were traveling I saw the welcome and thank you for the hoarding board so I decided I should take pictures after we returned from Bardiya national park. We took a short break where I found such peace in mind that I requested Hitten to have more rest to get sound sleep. But Hitten replied with fun that I could if I wanted to be prey -a dinner of a tiger. Hearing about tiger I just agreed to move on and hurriedly got into a scooter. After a few kilometers, we reached Karnali Bridge but didn’t stop over there and kept on moving. I saw lots of visitors taking pictures over the bridge and enjoying the scene of flowing Karnali. I had never seen such a huge river water flow expect river of the western region. Whenever I used to see a river I thought to take water to my home but it was impossible. Knowing this Hitten consoled me that Melamchi was coming soon to Kathmandu which would somehow reduce water problems. I was enjoying the green-blue water of Karnali and after crossing bridge, we reached check post where we were handed a slip of time limit traveling 40km per hour. We had to reach the next checkpoint within 22-27 minutes it is because most wilds animals’ usually cross the road in between this distance. It seemed like a sensitive area for a wild animal as we were traveling we saw a couple of squirrels and deer. While we were an insensitive area I was worried that the tiger might attack from the side because we were traveling at a slow speed that we were getting bore. I was worried but it was my only fear.  It is because one could view a tiger while crossing the road in rare cases only. We took 27 minutes to reach the next checkpoint then after onward we sped up. At 1 pm we reached Bardiya national park but I was surprised to have nothing which I was expecting found Bardiya better than other national parks.I was searching for a wood signboard like in Sukhklaphanta but I was not able to find. With high expectations, I entered the national park taking a ticket. It was a zoo. Firstly we moved to the crocodile breeding area then after we moved to the elephant and rhino chamber. We were unable to view the elephant but got a chance to view rhino name Vikram.Hitten informed me that there used to be a tiger in a cage so I hurriedly moved to cage but I didn’t see it. I returned back to the rhino shed. Many local people were there to view Vikram and they were explaining that one of his eyes was broken by villagers while he was at the farm of villagers and one of the friends was killed during confront between villager and rhino.
Grandmother was calling him Vikram Vikram with love but he was busy having grasses. She even explained that Vikram was tamed over here after making him tempting as well as offering his favorite grasses from the confrontation area so that he could be saved. We were watching from the stairs of offices, Vikram was not in the mood to move so everyone got down but I was wishing him to move so that I could see him with the whole body. I waited for him for 10 minutes, then he moved to the other side. I found that one of his eyes was broken. This made me confirm that it was a fact what grandmother was explaining while we were at the stairs of the office. We were unable to view the tiger so we moved to visitors’ information where we received information about the tiger and elephant which was written in pictures. Afterward, we moved to the Tharu museum where Hitten described his typical ornaments, utensils, and other tradition followed by the Tharu community.
Spending 30 minutes we got off from the national park to take pictures at the gate. I was unable to find a wooden board so I took pictures at the gate of the national park. Hitten was getting busy on the phone with samdhini. I was confused about what samadhi meant and samdhini and who he or she was. Hitten replied that samdhini meant friend and he even informed that we were going his home. Snapping pictures we moved to his samadhini home which was a nearby national park. I was so excited to meet his samadhi and samdhini in the home. We were welcomed by his samdhini’s father and I kept waiting for his samdhi or samadhini. I waited for 30 minutes for his Samdhi then I was in such a dilemma asking Hitten to whom we were waiting for and he replied samadhi meant my friend who was the same as him- police who was in another district as his posting. I was surprised to hear then I asked with whom we were going to meet. He answered with his father and mother. After getting clear I kept quiet for minutes then we took to the room where we were served with wine, spinach, and chicken. I was thirst so I took the glass thinking that it must be water but when I saw it look different. I asked Hitten if this was water or something else. He replied being cheerful that yes…. it was water but distilled. Oh my god and I asked that we were going to drink it and he answered yes and you should. I denied but he described its Tharu culture and I replied it as like Newar community but we used to serve in a tiny terracotta clay cup. They were much more known about the Newar community and most of our tradition was similar to each other. I requested samadhini of Hitten to make it half but she removed only 25percentt from the glass. I was feeling so awkward because one must drink it if anyone denied then it seemed as being disrespectful to them. We took a permit to drink after having a sip of wine. I felt burning in my chest but I found it was lighter than Newar wine. They began to conversant about their personal and current situation in the country. They were disappointed with the current situation; they were hopeless for changes but wishing for a better future for their upcoming generations. I was stunned to hear about their problems which motivated me to drink with pain. Hiten and his samadhi father were sharing the moments where I was worried to drink it. I was enjoying the chicken in order to wash out the remaining wine of the glass. It took me 15 minutes to vacant it and I feel so free after I drank the remaining wine of glass. But as I emptied the glass, samdhinin found my glass empty and she added winemaking it full. I was staring at Hitten. He replied please had it because it was our tradition to fill the vacant glass? I neither laughed nor cried but my face was showing what I was feeling right now because my face was getting redness and everyone knew that I was done. I explained my tradition and travel experience and they had good entertained by my Newar ascent and jolly face. Everyone was enjoying my action due to which I felt awkward and kept quiet for minutes and Hitten spoke with fun why I was silent or I was wishing for some wine.Samadhini was ready to serve wine for me. I hid glass speaking it was enough in Tharu language “pugli” which meant I was done but not again laughed broke out. I was remembering the warning given by Woosha that he might even make me drunk and I was really drunk. I was heating from the wine which made me uncomfortable to cope with Hitten. Their conversation took place up to 2:30 pm then I requested Hitten to move on for Sukkhad. He was not in the mood to leave his samadhi home but for the sake of my happiness, we decided to depart from there. We began our travel discussing the current political situation, we were silent until we reached the Mahendra highway. He spoke this was the main reason why we used to visit Kathmandu or even for foreign employment and I knew that due to lack of basic facilities local people usually wished to visit Kathmandu for in search of their better life. He was hoping that local government might bring something change that would change the life of local people over there.
We were traveling in hangover and I was enjoying the moments’. I asked curiously whether he was fit to drive. He replied with laugh hahaha. I was the man who could drink a gallon of wine if we didn’t have to return. I was stunned and had mood-changing laughed but was worried that the police might know when we would approach for posting. He answered with fun that he had a trick to get off from them then I just enjoyed the moments. Traveling we reached check post and as like before we got slip which had to complete within 22-27 minutes. I was enjoying the ride but had a fear that if we got a chance to view tiger crossing the road what should we had to do Hitten answered just chant ram ram and sped up as much we can. But it was a rare case to view tiger crossing the road and as like before we saw the squirrel at the side of the road. While we were returning I informed that we would get down at Karnali Bridge for snapping pictures and even at welcome and thank you for hoarding board.
As we crossed the sensitive area we sped up and from the checkpoint, it just took 30 minutes to reach to Karnali Bridge. We were 30 minutes late then our expected time we reached there at 5pm. I was sure that I might not have good pictures at the hoarding board but I had good pictures at the Karnali bridge which was better than the first-day snap. Then after 12 minutes ride, we reached the place where I was wishing to take a last final picture.
I  was excited to take pictures but I was getting sad too because my travel was nearly over and tomorrow I was getting back home. After snapping I kept quiet and Hitten knew that I was getting mood off. In order to change my mind offers me pork. I was not answering him and in order to divert the mind, I was recalling my whole trip. I was comparing bus travel and scooter ride which was vastly different experiences. It took one to reach Sukkhad from the place where we took our last pictures. Reaching up Sukkhad we moved to local pork hotel to have pork. We had 3 plates of pork which was excessive for me but it was nothing for Hitten. I was not getting rid out from the previous drink and we increased our hangover having another beer along with pork. After sending 40 minutes I requested him to move on for home and we departed for a home being double hangover than before. We reached home at 8:30 pm as reaching home I found two robust guys. I thought he might be the brother of Woosha. As we approached him Hitten described him he was the one who acted like Rajesh Hamal and Amitabh Bacchan of Tharu movies. Knowing him he was an actor I asked him questions if he was still acting as an actor but he denied that he had left the movies industry 10 years ago. I was so happy that he co-operated with me being friendly. As I was conversating with him Hitten bought another jar of wine. I answered him it was enough but he handed over me a glass of wine to keep the respect of his cultures. Conversation for 15 minutes we began our dinner and I found everyone was enjoying the dinner but when ashram informed that tiger killed villagers at the same time when we were at the national park then we got stunned hearing it. I shared my whole experiences as well as spoke out two Tharu words (thik baa –it’s ok and ram ram- namaste). They were enjoying my conversation being hangover and after dinner, prem left for his home and us three began our conversation but as soon as we began our conversation he got a call from his home so he even left us. I was exhausted from today as well as previous day travel therefore I was wishing for sound sleep. I informed Woosha about the ticket. She replied to tell me tomorrow early in the morning. She informed me I had to go to the ticket counter in order to get a ticket and hoping that I stopped discussing a ticket. Meanwhile, before getting to room, we discussed whole travel than we created an itinerary regarding the trip and it took us one hour to finalize it. I was wishing next visit would be with my friend which would be funnier than this visit and after completion of discussion, I moved for rest in my room.
This was the fourth day probably the last day of the trip. Today I visited Bardiya national park which was my last destination of the trip. I found we should be in a group while visiting the national park and I was wishing to be here with pals in my next visit. Today I traveled via scooter which added another new experience in the travel experience and this day was full fun being hangover.

 Day 5-6 2019 Nov 6-7 Wednesday-Thursday

Ø  Sukkhad-Kathmandu-Bhaktapur
This was the fifth day at Terai as well as the sixth day of the trip which began as the previous morning day. I woke up at 5am because I didn’t have sound sleep like before due to fog dropping from leaves of trees of Woosha house. It was like heavy rainfall. It disturbed me due to which I was sleepless for the whole night but kept close my eyes so that I could have enough rest. I was waiting for the morning so that I could get outside to enjoy the morning view but thick fog lead me to get back into the room. Then getting inside I began to write my remaining daily travel experiences. I wrote it for one hour and at 6 am Woosha brought tea to me. As she brought tea, I hurriedly had it expecting that it'd taste like the previous day. To my despair, tea was sour and tasting like spicy. Viewing my reaction she hurriedly brought another tea but it didn’t meet taste like yesterday morning tea. This was going to be my last meeting with Woosha because after onward I was returning Kathmandu alone.
At 7 am I went to visit a local hotel in search of the internet with Nabin bk, younger brother of Woosha. He escorted me to a hotel where I could have intent before getting a password. We ordered breakfast; did not get good behavior from the owner. they were acting as I came to robbed his hotel while I was asking for wifi password and after getting a password I got busy posting pictures in social media. At 9:30 am we got back home and I requested Woosha for a ticket and she immediately ordered his brother to take me to the ticket counter. Without any objection, Asaram took me to the ticket counter but we failed to get a ticket. Ticket seller consoled me to return back at 2 pm for a ticket till then he promised me to manage the ticket. We returned the home and informed Woosha that I didn’t cut the ticket. She was acting as if I was joking but when Asaram confirmed she got surprised, asked for a reason, and even informed me to visit the ticket counter again. From the first day, I have warned my driver to book a ticket early because he informed me that the bus might be full while returning to Kathmandu. I packed my bag to move on but I was in despair because if I didn’t get the ticket I had to return back which wasn’t as per my trip plan. I had plenty of time so I hanged out with Woosha to pluck fruits and flowers.Woosha's brother urged me to stay today and booked a ticket for me. But I denied and wished to move on the same day which I was planning as per my trip plan. Carrying bag I moved to Woosha's brother's office for using the internet to spend the remaining time. I was there for one hour then I began to feel worried so at 12;30 pm I moved to the ticket counter for a ticket. As I got, I felt the ticket seller was waiting for me because he quickly handed over tickets as reaching there. I was so happy to get a ticket and I phoned Woosha informing me that I got the ticket. She informed to be alert while getting into the bus and should carry tickets each time in order to get allocated a seat. I felt so relieved after getting a ticket but I still had two hours 30 minutes left to get into a bus. In order to spend time, I went to a local shop for light tiffin and began to write my today travel experiences. I spent there for one hour and at 2 pm I got off at the bus stop in order to get the bus. I found many people were waiting for the bus. I was enjoying the moments of being a solo traveler. I interacted with other passengers in order to spend the time. As per the ticket bus had to come at 2;30 pm but it got only at 3pm due to this I had to roam the local area. The crowd was decreasing and when our bus arrived the whole area turned to vacant. I felt so happy to travel in the bus cabin along with the driver. I was wishing to experience from the first day but I didn’t get due to over bus staff inside the bus cabin. But this time I get the chance to seat in a cabin I was enjoying the moments which were waiting for it. I was wishing to sit over the cabin so that I could view tiger if luck favor, I'd get a chance to view while crossing the road but we viewed jackal instead of the tiger. I was interacting with the driver, he informed me that he saw a tiger just the day before yesterday in the sensitive area. I was so happy to hear that but feeling bad from inside because I was unable to view it. As night was rising up the traveling went on thrill because we were traveling basing on bus beam light. I stayed awake until and unless forest area road crossed I was having a good experience which I was getting from the time I got into the bus. At 8 pm we stopped at the highway hotel where we were the first bus to reach over there. As reaching there I asked the bus driver how long we would be here. He answered we were not staying there for more than twenty minutes because other buses were coming to the same hotel for dinner. Hearing this I had my dinner quickly and  I was surprised that I could not see my bus mates because the hotel was getting overcrowd then I  began to search the co-driver of the bus where he was enjoying his dinner then I was relaxed after meeting him. I waited for him to get on the bus but he was slightly busy so I went to the bus and got into the passenger area instead of a cabin. Everyone got into the bus in their respective seat and before moving, the co-driver came to look for me because I wasn’t in-cabin seat and, meeting me he ordered the driver to move on. Twins were sleeping in my seat so instead of disturbing them, I slept over the bus floor. I was not having sleeping so I interacted with passengers they all were from Doti. We discussed 30 minutes and as the driver switched off the light we stopped our discussion. Everyone was sleeping but I wasn’t so I began to write my travel experience lighting up lighter light. I wrote it for one hour and at 10 pm I closed down my pen for getting sleep. I was having good sleep than the previous day. I was wishing to lie on the bus floor from the first day I got into the bus but I was unable due to lots of things on the bus. But this time the bus floor was vacant. Other passengers even joined me to have good sleep. I was enjoying the night travel listening to my favorite songs. I was singing songs. A listening song I heard that somebody was laughing although I didn’t stop singing but sang it in light sound. At 12 am we found our bus at Rupandehi which meant we had crossed Lumbini. I found everyone was feeling sleepy and tired but I was surprised the driver was still fresh. I moved on the driver for conversation and asked about freshness. He answered simply that it had been their part of life and it’s the time to earn extra than before. Hearing up I was motivated that one must be honest towards his duty and work. After 3o minutes break, we began our travel and I slept for 5 hours. In the morning, we were at Ramnagar of Chitwan where we spent another 30 minutes as a break. I  was feeling good that I had good  sleep and even were very close to Kathmandu.I was calculating time and wished to be at home at 12pm if there wouldn’t be any bus problem during travel and after getting Kathmandu too. We began to move on from Mugling and reaching Mugling passengers slowly began to get down as per their destination. I listened to my favorite songs and recalling the travel moments which I had experienced in the previous day. I phoned Woosha, Aashib, and even at home that I had arrived at Mugling. I was feeling happy that I was going to reach home after 4 days but my excitement was diminishing when traffic began to increase. Some passengers got off from the bus thinking that traffic jams might be for a long period. So they moved to roam the market. But they didn’t notice that the bus was moving on and they had run about 300 to catch the bus and this was continuous for thrice in the same manner which made it so fun for other passengers. After crossing Thankot check post, our bus speed rose up and we reached Kalanki at 10 pm. Then we everyone got stunned when the bus informed that they were not going for Bus Park due to which everyone had to get down at Bafal. As I was getting off from the bus I phoned Woosha that I was on the way home, and I caught up the bus to reach Bus Park from where I could get a bus for Bhaktapur. The bus which I caught had taken about 45 minutes to reach the bus park from Bafal due to this my calculation went wrong and I was sure that I was not reaching home at 12 pm. As reaching the bus park area, I waited for a bus for 15 minutes due to which I was sure that I would reach home lately. I was feeling hotter than terai. I was getting exhaustion from pollution and overcrowding. Waiting for 15 minutes, the bus came then I felt relaxed. I was viewing the surrounding and comparing the surrounding with terai I found peace in terai where Kathmandu surrounding was full of pollution and noise but even though people loved to be here instead of peaceful. It is because of the availability of basic needs and other amenities. I was writing and completing my travel experiences in order to make it a blog. It took one hour 50 minutes to reach home. It meant at 12:50PM I reached home. Reaching home I phoned Woosha that I arrived home. And that was the way how my travel ended.
This was my last day where my travel ended after reaching home. It took me 20 hrs to reach home Sukkhad. It was a memorable journey which would be one of the best parts of my life. I wished in the next visit I would be visiting with my pals so that I could have much more fun than this trip. I liked to refer to people whoever wishing to visit over here because this is the place which should be visited by peace and nature lover in affordable price. I found this region is full of tourism possibilities and it just required better promotion and leadership for the overall development of the tourism industry.
