Ride to Sailung Feb 8-9 2020 -The highest point of Mahabharata Range of Nepal

About Sailung:

Vlog:

Sailung of Sailung Rural Municipality Dolakha is situated in the eastern piece of Nepal and contact to Doramba Rural Municipality Ramechhap district. Sailung has its highlights and importance which implies 100 slopes together, however as indicated by the nearby inhabitant, there are all the more than 108 slopes together. It's 3150 m high from the ocean level.
The significant attractions of the locale incorporate the way of life and history of Sherpa, Tamang, Gurung, Newar, and other ethnic networks, regular Nepalese towns, and way of life, settlement designs, Agriculture, scene, Himalayan and sloping area local creatures like mountain bovine called Chauri Gai, marsh dairy animals, water wild ox, goat, sheep and so forth. Not just that this locale is encompassed by various species rhododendron woods, oak woodland, pine backwoods, and others such huge numbers of various sorts of vegetation, greenery. This slope is extremely sudden where we can see such a significant number of little slopes together. Also, from the top will have the option to get looks at wonderful perspective on Mt.Gauri Shankar 7134 m, Mt. Dorje Lakpa 6866 m, Mt. Langtang Lirung 7227 m, Mt. Manaslu 8156 m extend Everest 8848 m region mountain range, Mt. Numbur range 6959 m and Mt. Makalu 8481 m some more. The zone will offer an image of the rustic way of life and cultivating designs. The territory the majority of the individuals are Buddhist and Hindus people group. There are not many essential visitor houses accessible. The locale individual's principal occupation is cultivating. They develop potatoes and vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, carrot and radish and so on. Those all the farming items move from Sailung area to Kathmandu by nearby transports and they sell it in Kathmandu. The area potato is popular in Kathmandu by the name of Mude ko-Alu (Potatoes of Mude).
As indicated by season Sailung has been changing and making a very scene. Without a doubt, winter season falls day off, season sprouts various species rhododendron bloom, Monsoon season filled by green grass and all the district Himalayan local creatures mountain cowshed brings there, the autumn season will offer dry grass and so forth. A large portion of the individuals go to visit either in the Autumn season or Spring season, yet the individuals who like to play with day off, do go there in the winter season for playing day off.
Sailung isn't just sloped. There are such a significant number of verifiable strict and social qualities stone landmarks are, which speaks of stunning importance. Nearby individuals said that "Sailung implies like 108 offers which are utilized by the Buddhists when they supplicate. It's called Thengwa and a few people called asking Mala, as well. It's extremely heavenly spot where individuals can visit and appeal to God for the omnipotent "Another legend is that” Sailung top all the stones head has gone in toward the Western part which implies that these 108 slopes are property of the all-powerful God and Goddess. In this way, an antiquated time the phantom endeavored to have it from the Western part. That is the reason, those all the stones filled in as a military for securing it. So  all the stone head has transformed into the Western part like a weapon."
Sailung top western part is simply stone dividers and Tiger stone called Bagh Dung however in the North part there is the peacock which is known as a Ganesh, in the South part, there is a bovine stone called Gai Dungga and Eastern part there is stone resembles a snake which is called Jure Mahadev Dungga. This Jure Mahadev Dungga is inside the thick pine and rhododendron woodland, as well as the trident, Saileswor temple, footprints of Padamashambha, swords of Hindu deity Bhimsen, the navel of the earth and, can be seen. There is a wide range of exceptionally authentic places around and in the Sailung which takes hours to visit every one of them proceeds. Those all the spots pictures are underneath which can clarify all the more obviously. What's more, this locale is extremely great for national and worldwide the two travelers who might want to do short treks out of Kathmandu valley like for 3 days from Kathmandu ( Bhaktapur - Dhulikhel - Pachkhal - Khadichaur - Mude - Deurali - Dhunge - Kalapani - Sailung ) to back Kathmandu and within two days it can be done by riding different modes of vehicles. Way to Sailung is easy where everyone can easily complete and can enjoy the trip. The road is gravel but if you are planning to travel by different modes of vehicles you can make it but it's a  little difficult. But do not try to plan bike ride during snowfall and the rainy season which full of risk and danger.

Hike (we traveled by bike to Kalapani-2800 m and begins hike from there then end in Khola-kharka-2980 m and vice-versa) to Sailung was planned in the last year when we visited Bethanchowk of Kavre district. We were planning to hike in the exact date as last year's date Feb 2-3 but due to few numbers of friends, we postponed Feb 8-9 with 12 numbers of hike lovers.

Here go my personal experiences ride to Sailung as per days.

Day 1 2020 Feb 8 Bhaktapur - Mude – Kalapani – Kholakharka

I woke early in the morning to pack the bag for departing to Sailung. I was sure that we weren’t departing as per we fixed the time. At 645 AM I moved for Jagati to spend the time instead of meeting at Tachapal. As reaching up there I called RabiG, Sajan, Kevin , and Aashib to know the situations whether everyone has arrived or not and I confirmed that we will not be departing as per our mention time. To the spent time I moved to a tea shop for breakfast I was feeling good to had doughnut after a long time. I was enjoying the doughnut listening to current trending songs “Yenti Yenti” continuously. It was 730 AM which was our mention time to depart but no has still arrived yet and even no one phoned me.I was listening up music even I was roaming around the Jagati. I had to wait about 1 hour to get phoned and to meet up. At exactly 830 AM I was phoned by Binit to meet them up at Jagati bus top.As I meet them Binit provided me a helmet and told me to ride with Avisek. I saw Anu with RabiG, Binit with RabiM, Alish with Rohit and I was with Avisek sharing bike. As I joined Avisek he informed me “don’t worry you are with safest bike riders among us” I was convinced with him and begins our journey recalling last bike ride accidents. We speed up to reach Banepa where we ll be waiting up the rest of the friends. While we were riding I got a phone called from Aashib to know the location where we were at and I inform him we ll be waiting at Banepa. We reached Banepa at 8:45 AM and waited for the rest of the friend but RabiG moved ahead than us so we had to move at Dhulikhel to joined him and wait until unless rest of the friend arrived. This was my second bike ride and I was praying for the safe ride because in the last ride I faced an accident at Kulekhani while returning from Hetauda and luckily I was saved having minor injuries. This was my first experience to wear a helmet I felt so safe wearing a helmet. At 9:30 AM we meet up the rest of the friends Soniya, Sajan, Kevin and, Aashib. We decided to travel making checkpoints to meet up and as per checkpoint first, we stop at Panchpakhal for breakfast. Before we depart from Dhulikhel Kevin request to change his helmet with me. I got a full-size helmet which was making me trouble interacting with Avisek. I was feeling that we were like taking off plane passing through the air making a humming sound and it was occurring due to the road was newly pitched and making us comfortable to ride a bike. I was enjoying the ride but I was not making comfortable for Avisek due to my unusual movement in the bike. He urged me to stay calm and stay fearless. I shook my head and stay quiet and vow to support him. We soon reached Panchakhal where we were having our breakfast. I found everyone was enjoying the moments and everyone was cracking jokes which added much more fun. As tea arrived we served each other’s but RabiM spilled out his tea while picking up NRs 5 notes and everyone just ragged him up which was funnier than our jokes. We spent around 20 minutes and resume our ride making Dolalghat as our second checkpoint to meet up. I was searching Avisek where he was already on the bike to depart from the tea shop. We begin to ride our and still, the road was better which was making comfortable to ride. RabiM and Binit were ahead than us and I felt RabiM driving was making me scared because he used to corner his leg whenever turning arrived. I was wishing to overtake the to rid out off from Rabim's cornering leg while driving in turning road but Avsiek was riding having motto of safe drive so I didn’t disturb him. Riding for an hour we reached Dolalghat around11 AM where we decided to travel maintaining a gap between us. We were traveling using a goggle map and RabiG was insisting to move from Dolalghat but we were unable to found out the way. Therefore we decide to move via Mude which was as per my plan to travel from there. Spending for a few minutes we moved for Khadichar making it our third checking point. RabiM and Binit were waiting for us at the junction of Chautara and Charikot.Avisek was not confirming the way but I was convincing him that I know the way well and request him to drive with calmness. We reached junction where RabiM was waiting for us and while I was going to informed Avisek that this right way moves for Chautara  (headquarters of Sidhupalchowk district) we suddenly got misbalance from the bike and we felt down. This misbalanced can be dreadful if we got it while we were driving but luckily we were at the side of the road. We decided to stop our interaction to get rid out of misbalance and begin our ride but after traveling from the junction we were stopped by police to check licenses and bill blue book. I was recalling RabiM bags which contains his license and which ll make a good presentation for police but the bad news is that Avisek informed me his license was expired and was shocked listening to his words. He told me to stay calm and don’t interrupt while he ll be dealing with police.
Luckily traffic police were so frankly and jolly they just warned and let us move forward. I felt so relieved to move forward but I was sure they ll check us again the next day. Avisek replied we ll applied the same techniques like before which make us huge laughed and motivate to focus on driving. I was enjoying the ride and recalling the traveling through this highway before because in the last travel we were in Scorpio for rafting but this time we were traveling by motorcycle which was different experiences than before. As we begin to see the crowd of vehicles and people we assume that we were at Khadichaur but Avsiek was still unknown whether to move ahead or to cross the bridges. I informed him that if we moved ahead we’ll be reaching Tatopani-Kodari and if we crossed the bridge well be reaching Mude. We crossed the bridge and stopped to wait for remaining friends and it was 1150 AM which shows that we reached Khadichaur within 50 minutes from Dolalghat. We rest for 10 minutes and informed to ride a bike making the gap between us having a safe ride motto. Everyone was enjoying the ride and getting excited to reach sailing which was our destination. I interacted with local people to know the way for Sailung. I was aware of a way to Sailung but the rest of the friends willing to have confirmation about way. Local shop owners informed me about the way which was the same as I willing to go through it. After this everyone confirmed that we ll be moving Sailung via Mude and before that, we were willing to travel via Nepalthok which could be a long way than Mude. At exactly noon we resume our ride making Mude as our fourth checkpoint.Avisek informed me to stay too quiet unless we reached Mude. I was supporting him for a safe ride and we begin to move ahead. The way was uneven gravel as well as pitch which reminds way of Kulekhani where I faced accident due to uneven road. I was recalling the moments when I was on this highway before two years while visiting Kalinchowk. I was wishing for a spectacular view of Rolwaling mountain ranges but the weather was smoggy and cloudy at the side of the mountains. Due to which I was unable to view the mountains and just diminish my excitement because I was wishing to view it and was so surprised to view the smog which blocks the mountains and wishing for a better view from Sailung. Riding for hours makes everyone tired and I found RabiM was playing his guitar at a bus stop which adds happiness but it just lasts for a few minutes because afterward, I ride with RabiM bike. I was feeling uncomfortable with his bike and even the road was uneven dusty gravel. I saw the bus was getting down and I was hoping that we ll pass through it. But expectation fails, Oh my god we felt down in front of the bus in the middle of the road which gives me a shock that I felt that I was dying. Due to shock, I woke up and I just lied down at the side of the road instead of helping RabiM to clear the road. Everyone was having fun from my unusual act but nobody realizes that I might be feeling that I am dead. Two of the bikers approach to me and question whether I am fine or not. I replied him putting off my helmet down. He informed me to ride a bike well and I just shook my head and they move on. I was silent for few then until and unless Avisek came to hold me and joined his bike again and I vow that I might return instead of riding in RabiM bike. Due to shock I just forget what we were doing and where we were going I was quite even reaching Mude. We reached over there around 1 pm and moved to a hotel for our lunch. RabiG was describing my act which makes good laugh for other friends where RabiM consoling that I am fine but my body shivering with fear due to shock. I even forgot that I was wearing a helmet and carrying bag and I put off after being reminded by RabiM. I kept quiet for a few minutes then after I joined with a friend to hang out with them and listen up their experiences till now. Everyone was waiting for lunch but it was taking time to get service so along with RabiM, Sajan we moved to round up the Mude. Walking for a few meters we reached the junction I informed them if we took right we ll reached Charikot (headquarters of Dolkha district) and if we took well reached our destination i.e Sailung (the highest point of Mahabharata Range of Nepal). They were so excited for Sailung as well as for lunch so to get our lunch we returned to our hotel. RabiM was wishing for mutton curry but we order chicken curry he even described ground apple which was new words for me while we retuning the hotel. I request him to show it but he just replied it’s like potatoes but that apple. I was wishing to view it but we were unable to found it. I was not convincing from him because before a few days ago he told me about potato dumpling but he fails to show me. I was not entertained from his words so he urges me to talk with Rohit about it.We close out the topic and moved for the hotel where our pals are waiting for us. Plating was already in the table so we hang up with Sajan, Alish, Rohit for our lunch. We were shocked to view light textures of chicken which makes us surprise because we were looking at curry while it was being cooked. I was wishing for good taste and it meets my desire so I had heavy lunch after getting surplus chicken stock. I was feeling so happy to had delicious lunch which reminds my last trek to Pikey peak trek where we had the very worst chicken ever. After lunch we had rest for 20 minutes then we decide to move on to reach Sailung before dusk. At 230 PM we resume our ride making Kalapani our final checkpoint. The way gravel and uneven which making was it uncomfortable to cope with Avsiek. After riding for 30 minutes I saw the hills covered with snows where the rest might thinking that the telecom tower may be the Sailung. I was feeling so hopeless that we might not view the mountain because smog covers the mountain and was making unable to view the mountains even hills where Charikot lies. I was informing Avisek that we might not have spectacular like Bethanchowk. He consoles me to have hope and move on. The whole way was off-road so everyone was having difficulties to cope with situations. We were riding up hills and down hills which were making difficult to ride due to which we had to get down in order getting free form slipped. We were driving ahead than others due to which we got a chance to view the snow earlier than other friends. At 4 PM we reached Kalapani but we were moving even after crossing Kalapani hoping that there might be a way for Kholakharka. We meet 5 other travelers they suggest getting down to Kalapani for parking bikes and urged to move Sailung by walking. They even informed us that way to Kholakharka adjourns from Dhunge and road condition is not in good condition. We two were in dilemma whether to stayed or to move on while we were getting down the rest of the pals reached toward us so. I order them to get down after describing all the facts told by other travelers. Everyone begins to enjoy the snow where I get down at Kalapani for booking the hotel.
This was our first experience of snow of 2020 before that we had enjoy snow in Bethanchwok and snowfall in our home town Bhaktapur. After an hour they get down to Kalapani where we decided to move onto Kholakharka or stay at Kalapani. Everyone wishes to move on to Kholakharka and at 5 pm we begin our hike. I was not in a fresh mood so to make my mood better Aashib played our favorite south Indians songs. I was walking with Aashib along with Binit playing songs in the boom box. I just felt that life is beautiful when we had a better sound environment but it stays only for a few minutes. We had bone-chilling cold wind which reminds us of Pikey peak trek and surrounding and hiking trails seems like Bethanchowk and Mardi. We were having mixtures of memories while moving to Kholakharka. While moving I saw a group of pals thinking that they might be waiting for us but something was wrong to Avisek. As we approach them I saw Kevin was holding him and asking for a woolen cap. I was enjoying the hike listening to music which makes me forget that I was carrying Avisek bags. Kevin was asking for a woolen cap so I was reminded that the bag which I was carrying might contains it. I check it out and getting the cap I gave to Avsiek to make him wear. As dusk was getting dark we speed up to reach Kholakharka as soon as possible. We were walking downhill in concrete steps. We were surprised not to view a blowing light but we were walking towards the direction where dogs ware barking continuously. It took us about 50 minutes to reach Kholakkharka where was Chyangbaa bajey was surprised to view us because previously we inform that we ll not visiting him. Even though he welcome us but the surroundings were not pleasant toward us because it was getting colder than we expected so everyone was approach towards the oven. We were so shocked to have windy surroundings due to which everyone was getting cold. We order local wine to spent time and after getting it with a single sip of hot wine it burnt my lips which makes me so difficult to cope with other friends while they were sharing their experiences. Dinner was getting ready and everyone was willing to have chicken curry dinner so along with Sajan and Chyangbaa bajey we moved to a cage for choosing the rooster. The weather was having cold windy due to which we were unable to stay out of the hotel so we stayed in the kitchen until and unless we had our dinner. In the oven chicken, the curry was getting cooked which makes us our hunger double than before.
At 830 pm we had our dinner, I was so surprised to view a full bowl of chicken curry because I was never served with a large portion of chicken before wherever we had either lunch or dinner. Along with Kevin, we were enjoying our dinner and I was surprised to view his techniques to separate bone from the meat using a spoon. We had a very delicious dinner which reminds me lunch of Ulleri while we trek to ABC in 2014 where we had heavy lunch ever. I was enjoying dinner which I felt that this was the best moments of this trip. Everyone was happy to see my happiness due to which I found cherish moments within us. After dinner, I decided to move for sleep to wake early in the morning but Rohit stopped to stay for a while and staying for 15 minutes I went to the room for sleep. At the room, I was recalling whole day"s ride till now and after an hour’s Rohit and Alish came for sleep. I was expecting that they would sleep but Rohit begins to share his life moments while songs were begins sing in the next room by the rest of the friends. Rohit was sharing the moments of his valentines and I was confused actually with whom he was frustrated about her. I request him to stop his speech but he was not because he was missing her valentines but I was in a dilemma whether he was acting real or he was in a hangover. He stopped his speech when I stopped to respond to him and we got deep sleep but at mid-night rest of the friend joined us. As the night goes on everyone was snoring where I got loud out a laugh when RabiG was screaming with pain as well he was laughing even though he was sleeping ( maybe he got sleep paralysis).

The night was going on along with windy weather. I felt deep sleep which ends day first experiences.

Day 2 2020 Feb 9 Kholakharka –Sailung - Kalapani – Mude – Bhaktapur

This was the second day of the ride which begins from morning 5 o clock. I woke to view whether it was good weather or not but like before the wind was still on. I walk a few meters but I didn't saw any chance to view the mountains because it was covered with dew and fog. I returned to the room and joined to have slept again. Everyone was still having sleep due to scaring blowing wind. We were failed to view sunrise but along with Aashib, I was imagining that the sun has roses and mountains have shines but it was just imaginations which kept us sleep till 7 am. Everyone woke up to view sunrise but the sun had already risen.Aashib was screaming with excitement because he saw the mountains he called me to joined him. I hurriedly ran towards him but my excitement diminishes when I dint found shining mountain ranges. The surround was reminding me Pothana while trekking toward Mardi Himal where mountain view and location seemed the same as there was.
I was searching for mt Gaurishankar and I was sure it might be blocked by Sailung hills and hoping for clear crystal view of mountains we resume our hike at 730 AM from Kholakharkaa to Sailung. As like yesterday along with Binit and Aashib I was enjoying the South Indian songs which made us full of enjoyment while listening to music. Yesterday we were walking at dusk but today we were walking in the morning due to which we were having differs experiences than before. At 810 AM we reached a view tower where we saw full areas covered with snow. As reaching up there everyone begins to enjoy the moments in their way. I was walking with Kevin to roam the area and I urged him to greet mt Gaurishankar he greets the mountain but dint asked me the reason. I cleared him about greeting mountains because we Nepalese Hindu believes that lords Mahadev reside over there and I even informed him that from this mountain our country time has been set i.e GMT 545 hrs. Previously he was unknown about it and after that, we begin to snap our pictures. As in every trek Anu, Soniya, Rabi Sajan, Binit and Aashib begin to perform their signature dance in “Hariyali songs” then we snapped the same styles poses as we do it in every trek.
We were having cold even we managed to the snap as soon as possible because the wind was blowing in light and coldness was still on. After that, we moved to view tower where we found tower was in heirless which makes us felt bad about. I was not having the same view as we got from Bethanchowk. I was wishing to view clear crystal mountain but we were not having due to unclear and smog towards the side of the mountains. We saw rest if the pals were making TikTok of "Yenti Yenti songs” sings which makes us entertained and had got huge laugh toward them.
Staying for a few minutes we get down from the tower and we even decided to get down to Kalapani. We begin to get down enjoying nature and surrounding walking in the snow. At one point we stopped where RabiG, Sajan, RabiM, Binit and,  Aashib climbed hills to skate from there. I was willing to join them but I found snow is in condensing which might cause difficulty to slip. They skate it’s for thrice which makes fun for the rest of the pals to view their skating act. Everyone was skating in their way where I found Binit skating was quite different than other skaters. He was pushing his own body instead of getting slipped.
We spent here for around 20 minutes and we moved to Kalapani.I was walking with Rohit, Alish, Avisek , Anu, and Soniya. The way was slippery due to frozen snow and this was reminding Bethanchowk trails where we had to crawl to get down. Suddenly Anu felt down and at the same moments, Rohit sang a song which suits while she got felt down. The act makes us laugh for a long period unless Soniya again felt down. Everyone was feeling pity for her but we rest of the friends we were willing to view Anu, getting slipped but she didn’t felt down. We were walking steadily to get rid out of getting slips side beside we were cracking jokes. At 1020 AM we reached Kalapani where we had doughnut and tea along with rest to move on. We were making Mude as our checkpoint where we ll had our lunch. At 11 AM we got ready to move on but before that, we took group pictures for memories. We begin to ride for Mude I was riding with Avisek and today’s I was aware where I should get down to get a slipped free ride. We were moving downhill’s recalling yesterday rides and I found Avisek was confused about the way I console him that I know the way well like before. We were overtaking by RabiM and Binit where they were unseen form our sight within minutes. We thought they might have reached Mude or they might have lost the way. We were moving on our speed and it took about one hour to reach Mude. This is the first time that we reached the checkpoint at once except RabiM and Binit. Everyone met up at the point where the road was being constructed so we back sitters decided to get off for making the easy ride for bikers.
We walked for a few meters then we again ride with bikers to move for Mude. We found RabiM and Binit were at the hotel where we were going to had our lunch. At 1 pm we were at Mude where we were going to have our lunch and as I reached the hotel I move in search of sockets for charging mobile. Avisek interrupts me where I was charging but I refused him and even I informed others not interrupts where I was charging the phone. Plating was already in the table so I moved for lunch joining RabiM, Sajan and Binit table. I had a bite of veggies which I found it tasteless for me. Everyone got their chicken curry but I was not having it. So I was eager to taste the chicken and as like yesterday RabiM wishes for mutton stock. He requests for the owner and replied with cheerful in his face we were served with plenty of stock due to which we add heavy lunch like last night dinner. My excitement diminishes when Anu removes my mobile charger from sockets so we had a discussion and I charge it back when she refuses to charge her mobile. Everyone was blaming me for my unusual reaction but I was not listening instead I stood up to get fresh from the table. I was feeling sorry about that but nobody knows that I have a fast charge draining problem on my mobile and even I didn't inform them. After our lunch we took 30 minutes break during this break we plan for making Khadichaur as our next checkpoint. I was checking my bag to move on and I was provoking Kevin and Rohit to move for Kalinchowk. They were willing to visit but the rest of us did not agree so we decide to ride for Kalinchowk in our next ride. At exactly 2 pm we begin our journey “oh know the way has seemed so worst than yesterday ride. I was informing Avsiek are we in the right track or we mislead the way because we were having so difficult to adjust while we were riding than the day before. I was not feeling comfortable due to which my unwanted movement distracting Avsiek while riding a bike. I was eagerly waiting for a pitch road for a comfortable ride and it took 45 minutes to have pitch road. Like yesterday we were having the pitch and uneven gravel road. We were riding downhill’s to reach Khadichaur which took us 50 minutes to reach over there. We were ahead than the rest of the friends we wait until everyone arrived we had 10 minutes break and resume our ride at 3 pm making Dolalghat as our checkpoint. The way was better which suddenly increases our speed we were riding in the speed of 70-75 mph before that were riding in 40-50 mph. I was feeling like a plane taking off like the day before yesterday when air passes through us the humming sound making me felt like the plane has taken off in the air. Soniya was shooting the ride while we were busy looking at banana farms I thought everyone has recalled me whenever bananas farms arrived. After the ward, everyone begins to drive at high speed which makes it as if we were racing a race. Riding for 45 minutes at one police check there was checking like before.Avisek told me to stay calm but this we didn’t get frankly police like yesterday so we had to pay the fined. This diminishes our excitement and begins to ride in normal speed where rest foe the friends were waiting for us at Dolalghat. Like before we had a break for 10 minutes and make Panchkhaal as our last checkpoint. I was comparing our yesterday and today’s experience where I found Binit was worried that he might get late for his reception where the rest of the pals were exhausted from the ride. They planned to have banana drinks in Panchkhal which was 14 km from Dolalghat. At 4 pm we resume our ride before that along with Avsiek we moved for buying the roasted fish. We were riding last so we decide to ride at a moderate speed but even driving at a moderate speed we met up Kevin and Aashib where I found we were being disturbed by bus for us. We overtake to have a safe ride but still, Kevin and Aashib were having disturbed from the bus. We stopped at a place name called 38 kilos where we were going to have banana drinks. Firstly we stayed in the lobby for having khuwa (dairy products) and after getting it Sajan just attack over it which makes me entertain but he was not sharing others. He left it to the table then only the rest of the pals share each other. Then we moved upstairs to have a banana drink and I was having a banana drink after a long time which tastes so good and I was willing to have it more but we order only as glass. I was enjoying the moment even capturing the pictures of Panchkhal mustard farms.
Sajan and RabiG were allocating the remaining amount of money where Aashib and I moved for clearing the bills. It was time to adjourn with Avisek because he had to reach Kathmandu before dusk so he rides with Binit. He farewell me and then moved ahead than us. I was not in favor to ride with RabiM so Sajan informed to ride with him. At 5 pm we moved for Bhaktapur, while we were riding Sajan begin to share his moments with what he does before while he was riding from Khadichaur-Dolaghat to Panchkhal. He showed me demonstrations  I was just shock and plead Sajan not performed it again because he was riding a bike by standing keeping hand free from bikes handle and even he was dabbing. I request him to ride well but he was the man or we called him to ambush bomb of over-excitement so whenever the road was clear he stood up and show his stun and I felt I was riding with excitement bomb. We were having the safe ride but at one point I was being dropped dry leaves from trees which makes me difficult to open my eyes. I was having tears in my eyes due to the hard drop of leaves but Sajan didn't notice me. I informed him that yesterday  I saw the tails of leopard and he even noticed that so were riding at a slow pace to find out that place but we found board naming “keraghari”.
It might be the best moments to have keraghari along with me for Sajan. He orders me to get down in orders snapping my pictures facing the board. He was having a continuous laugh even I was having too due to which we were having to enjoy full-ride form the place we depart. I felt Sajan bike was quite heavier than Aviske bikes and he even inform it is heavier bike than others but his balancing qualities making me convinced that we were having a safe ride. We reached Dhulikhel at 530 pm so he asked advised whether we should meet the patient or not I strongly agreed to meet her so that she might get well soon. At Banepa we called her but she didn’t pick up our phone so we decided to move ahead. As we were having excessive vehicles form Dhulikhel so Sajan was riding with safe mode and at Bhaisipati my sight stuck over the jeep which contains 3 fairs lady and before I asked with Sajan he told what a beautiful girl. I replied are they dummy or real girls because I  was not having clear sight due to pain from the dropped leaves. We approach them so I  confirmed that there were real girls. We were riding slowly to view them which making fun for us but I suggest Sajan move ahead so that we can reach home as soon as possible. Sajan shook his head and moved faster and stopped until we reach the petrol pump. We are on the verge to end our ride as we reached Jagati I told him to drop me at home. At 555 pm I get down from the bike and before we depart we called Aashib so that Sajan could meet him up. He moved to Tachapal for meeting the rest of the friend and from there we adjourn.
Overall I found this ride full of enjoyment and safe ride but due to lack of views of mountains, I was still not satisfied because of unclear smoggy weather. This shows that still, Bethanchowk's view was better than views from Sailung. We came to conclude that if the road would be in better conditions it might be a comfortable journey for everyone willing to reach over there.

With joy, naughty jokes, ragging and petty arguments with each other are this how we end up our ride to Sailung following the motto of a safe ride. This was our first trip to the "Visit Nepal 2020" campaign and still more to go on.

Traveling to far-west of the Terai region was my desire from childhood when we used to learn the draw the map of Nepal and locate the places as per mention in the questions while studying social studies till class 10. It took years to reach over here and I got the chance to visit when I meet Woosha at my master’s level. As I know she was from Kailali district (covers a maximum area with forest but no national park or protected area) I begin to dream about the Chadani-Dodhara Bridge and Karnali Bridge which I was eagerly waiting for a visit. It took two years to reach over there I mean after completion of our master exam we planned to visit over the bridges which I was looking for a visit and my experiences are below as per date and places.

Day 1-2 2019 Nov 2 -3 Saturday- Sunday

Ø  BKT- KTM – Sukkhad -  GhodaGhodi Lake - Maghi Homestay
This was the first day as well the second day of the trip which began from my home. Urgently Woosha informed me to get ready for departing to Kailali. She planned to move far-west Terai whenever she got discharged from the hospital. She planned instantly which make me difficult to cope with her. She booked a ticket for today of 3.30 pm., hurriedly I packed my bag for departing to Bus Park. At 11:55 am I caught a bus for Bus Park which took 1:30 minutes to reach Bus Park. I was excited to travel to Kailali because it was going to be my first ever travel in the far west of the Terai region. Even it was going to be my first ever longest night travel. While I was moving to Bus Park I was thinking about Mahendra highway the longest highway of Nepal (1024 km) because previously I hadn’t crossed Mahendra highway from Chitwan and from Kapilvastu district that’s why I was excited to experience the night travel in Mahendra highway. I reached the bus park at 1:15pm and began to roam the bus park I was at the bus park after 5 years (I was here in 2013 for trekking to ABC). I was roaming the bus park and in order, to spend the time I got off from the bus park but while I was moving I was noticed by Woosha and I got back to meet her. I was feeling excited to travel as soon as possible. But we had to wait until 3pm because we would be moving to Kailali only at 3pm. till then we discussed our travel and other travel experiences for an hour until our bus was ready for departure. I was feeling so excited to get into the bus because I hadn’t traveled on such a large bus before and I was eagerly waiting to seat on the bus. I was so surprised to view vacant bus we were only 12 passengers. I asked Woosha about the reason behind it. She replied, “It’s not a season to travel to home but instead it’s a time to get returned back to Kathmandu from home”. She informs me, “The bus will be a crowd when it’s a time of returning from Kailali to Kathmandu. So she suggested I get ready for the struggle to face a crowded bus after my completion of travel in order to get back. At 3.30pm, our bus departed from the bus park for Sukhad- the home town of Woosh. I was feeling free and happy to travel for the desired place. We were traveling sharing our colleges’ memories and thesis. The bus speed was gaining up which eagerly make to reach Mugling because the night light and movement of the bus seemed as picturization which I had noticed when I was returned from the Pokhara before one year and I was wishing for the same picturization. Everything was going as per our planning and as I knew we were going to enter Mahendra highway by Chitwan I was getting excited than before. At 7pm we reached Mugling, where I found the night light was cooler than I had expected. I was recalling my last trek along with other travel memories. I was listening to the Nepali song “Phoola haina” which I was wishing to listen to in Prtihivi highway this was making me feel better than I was wishing from the day I heard this song. I was continuously listening up the same songs but I was not feeling to get rid out of it instead of it I listened persistently. As night rises up I was getting colder than I expected. So, I wore everything that I carried for travel. I was in many more queries but Woosha was having sleep so I didn’t disturb her and continued to enjoy night travel view and listening to the music. At 9 pm we reached Phulchowk where our bus fueled. After crossing a few meters, we arrived at the hotel for our dinner at Palpa hotel. I was so stunned to view the vacant hotel. We were only 12 passengers along with bus staff and we spent 30 minutes there then I called up home for informing where I reached and where I was going further. From Phulchowk, Dhangadhi ( sub-metropolitan city and headquarter of Kailali district) was 520 km far away and it took 8 hours to reach up there ( Sukkhad of Kailali district). Everyone was feeling sleepy but I was sleepless because I wanted to view the night travel and know the place where we were moving further. For one hour I tried to sleep but I was not able to do so. Insistently I closed my eyes for rest and at 11pm I woke up and knew that we had already crossed the Lumbini (the birthplace of Gautam Buddha).  Onwards Lumbini I hadn’t crossed Mahendra highway and traveling for 15mintues from Lumbini we reached Taulihawa of Kapilvastu district (Palace of king Sudhodhan the father of Gautam Buddha). I was recalling my tour of tourist guide training 2018 when I had visited Lumbini for the first time and then after that visit, I was crossing Lumbini. Afterward, I was unknown about the place where we were traveling, and like before I was sleepless and began to listen up my favorite music. I was enjoying the night travel. As night was rising up I was so excited to know whether the same driver was driving or the next driver new and I found the same driver driving the bus. I was much more getting disturbed because our bus was playing rocking music in loud volume due to this I was sleepless up to 2pm, then afterward I just fell asleep. After sleeping for hours I woke with blur visibility where I found we were traveling in the middle of the forest. We reached Bardiya (the home of the tiger) at 4am and on the way, I saw a couple of deer and I was wishing for a tiger but it was the rare case to view the tiger crossing the road. Woosha shared her experience that she got a chance to view tiger when she traveled Kathmandu for the first time on the highway of Bardiya, crossing the road. The path was so straight that the bus was traveling at its higher speed. I was feeling so sleepy but I saw the tower I felt so surprised because I was unknown that we were crossing the Karnali Bridge. This bridge lies between Kailali and Bardiya which is the third-longest bridge of Nepal designed in single cable design with distance 500 meters. At 630 am our bus parked for breakfast then we hurriedly approached to bridges for snapping the picture I was so happy to be at Karnali bridge. I was surprised to have windy weather so hurriedly Woosha snapped my pictures and get into the bus back for moving ahead.
While we were getting into the bus I was uploading the picture on Facebook to inform that I was at Karnali Bridge. We reached Sukkhad at 7am which was our expected time and reaching up we got off from the bus then walking a few kilometers we reached the home of  Woosha where I took rest for an hour before moving to Ghoda-ghodi lake. At 11 am we moved for Ghoda-ghodi lake and I was escorted by Jay BC brother of Woosha. He was briefing about a place and the weather of Sukkhad, side by side he was describing Ghoda-ghodi lake. Walking 700 m from Woosha home, we reached the main road where we took an auto to reach Ghoda-ghodi lake and in 3 minutes we reached Ghoda-ghodi lake. Getting down from the auto, first, we move to roam the religious site of an area then we moved for boating he was informed we could see a crocodile in the pond but I was not hoping for it in the pond where we were moving for boating. I was enjoying the boating but little fear was there because as we reached the next corner of the pond we saw a crocodile. Viewing crocodile I was in despair due to this I requested Jay in order to turn back to the starting point of the boating area. I was not expecting crocodile in the pond but we got a chance to view it which added memory in the trip.
Then after getting back to the main road, we moved for Maghi homestay which was 4 km far from the highway. In order to reach homestay, we even took an auto and in about 30 minutes we reached homestay. As reaching up there I phoned the president of the homestay in order to receive me and due to un-confirmation, I was calling him staying in front of his home. We interacted for minutes then afterward Jay left for his duty from the homestay. I felt lonely when he shook hands and left me. Then I began to interact with the president of the homestay as the conversation goes for a long period I was surprised when he informed me that they were still deprived of electricity facilities’. I questioned with curiosity how it was possible to be connected with the main highway. He answered that they contracted through with co-operative instead of Nepal electricity authority. Due to a lack of electricity water facilities in the bathroom even having modern bathroom facilities it was seemed useless. He took me to the hall of their homestay where they used to conduct training and other program but it was like only a room because without electricity supply the electric things were being useless. He was sharing SWOT of Maghi homestay where I was consoling him to stay positive. I found being deprived of electricity there life had been so harsh and uneasy. At 3 pm I was referred to home no. 4 of Mayadevi where I took rest for 2 hrs. I was feeling sleepy because of sleepless last night. At 5pm Mahesh came to meet me where we discussed tourism in the far west. He was so hopeful for better tourism here and hoping for making it better than before. Discussing for hours he took me for dinner and I was so surprised to be treated as per their tradition they used to offer guest lunch at the door. I was feeling so awkward and knowing my oddness Mahesh described that Tharu used to offer lunch at the door for a guest. I was happy to have delicious chicken curry, veg curry, and even lentil too but the rice was being unusual to swallow. I enjoy the lunch having a conversation with Mahesh and after dinner, I requested Mahesh for sleep so he showed up my room and he left for his home.
This was my first and second day which was covered with unexpected fun and slightly lonely day. Being sleepless in last night I was so exhausted due to this I felt asleep soon but before going to bed I wrote today experience in my daily diary for memories.

DAY 3 - Nov 4 Monday

Ø  Maghi Home stay – ChadanidDodhara - Sukhlaphanta Nationl park-Sukkhad
Today was the third day of the trip which was going to be busiest because today we were going to visit Chadani-Dodhara and Sukhlaphanta and additional Mahakali Bridge and Sidha-Llingeswor etc. Yesterday night was quiet sleepless because there was no door in my room and I was scared that something might come to attack but it was just my misconception and fear that something might happen. I woke up early in the morning to move for Chadani-Dodhara and Sukhlaphanta. At 6am I woke up and called Mahesh for payment of homestay. He informed me that he is arriving and I waited for him for 45 minutes. After arriving he handover register to write something about suggestions to reduces the problem in my next visits. I listed the required facilities that I had known after a conversation with the president and Mahesh. Handing over the register I even cleared the bill. Before moving out I was farewell with tika and flower by homestay owner.
Mahesh came to drop me and I found there was not any auto. I was hoping for a bike or auto so that I could get down as soon as possible. I got a phone from Woosha that she was ready to depart for Attariya. I informed to depart after I reached the highway and waiting for 10 minutes I got auto and it took 30 minutes to get down. Reaching highway I called Woosha to move from Sukkhad for Attariya. I waited for 15mintues and at sharp 8am I got into the bus where I met Woosha then we moved for Aattriya. Oh my god! After crossing 8 km from Ghodaghodi lake we viewed the dead body in the Pahalmanpur market which was hit by a truck in the last night and it was in the same condition which made it unusual to view it. Local people were protesting and they just blocked road due to which everyone on the bus was despair but the driver knew the way to reach another side of the road from the middle of the forest. The driver was driving as per his experience then as we reached the road, local people were also there who had already blocked down the road. Then it was the condition where we were not able to return back neither move forward because we stuck at mid of the forest. Suddenly, local people were coming driving tractor they escorted us to way. We were in the forest for 45 minutes searching for the way while we were in the jungle we were worried that if we had to get retuned back our plan would hamper but even lately driver brought us on the highway. After reaching highway we traveled freely with joy and I was much more excited because we were so close to our destinations i.e Chandani-Dodhara. I was feeling so excited but my excitement diminished when I found a leech in my right leg. From the time I was on the bus, I was feeling the itching sensation in my leg and as it went extreme I checked out my leg and I found blood in my leg. I was confirmed that there might be leech then I untied shoes and I found leech which had fully sucked up blood. Viewing leech Woosha just adjourned from my side where we were sitting. I cleared the wounded part and forgot about it. Afterward, I got a phone from my father, he just wanted to know about the conditions so I handed over mobile to Woosha. She cleared everything and controlled the situation. Then after onward, I was free and my excitement resumed which was higher than before when we reached Attariya. Getting down from bus we got into Hiace van for moving Mahendranagar (headquarter of Kanchanpur district). At 10:15 am we moved for Mahendranagar which was 42 km far from Attariya. We were at the front seat so I got a chance to play the music as per my mobile playlist. Driver asked,” Is this Madarasi song?” I answered him and even questioned how he knew it ‘Madarasi’ and he answered that it sounded different. I   played the south Indian songs which were eager to play in the vehicle since I was in a vehicle. I was enjoying the travel and didn’t notice we were at Mahendranagar bus stop. We reached as per time predicted by my driver and it took one hour to reach Mahendranagar from Attariya. After that we moved in search of auto for Chadani-Dodhara and while we were searching two biker chants Chadani-Dodhara because they were working as Chadani-Dodhara bike lifer in a certain amount of fare. I was surprised to have a better facility for my desirable destination i.e Chadani-Dodhara. We denied their request and moved for auto then walking for a few meters we caught up an auto that was going to depart for Chadani-Dodhara. We disclosed our today’s plan to the driver and he advised us to book him for a day paying Nrs.2000. We consoled him that we would answer him on the way. Then we moved for Chadani-Dodhara while we were moving I was analyzing the fare where Woosha was calculating the time. Then we came with the decision that we would accept his advice because if we denied his idea we might lose the time while searching another auto as well as the fare might hike too. We found our auto driver was diplomatic and worked for the betterment of his passengers. We reserved him for the whole day because Woosha added two destinations unplanned (Mahakali bridge and Sidhalingeswor) after she found plenty of time from her calculations. I was getting excited to step on the bridge which I was dreaming from the last two years since I met Woosha. We took the subway then we moved via the airport I was surprised to view the runway as subway and grazing area for cattle. I asked the driver for the pathetic reason he even didn’t know the answer. He answered it was the same from the day he knew the place.
At 12 PM we reached Chadani-Dodhara and reaching up there I phoned for Aashib, Sabina and my mother. Afterward, I ran at the bridge to enjoy the moment but I was getting disturbed by the bike which was passing through the bridge. Bikers were riding at high speed due to which walker was getting disturbed and creating a problem for walking. Chandani-Dodhara connects two VDC of Nepal which over the next part of the Mahakali river. We spent aorund1 hours and 45 minutes to get up-down. Woosha was snapping my pictures and she was informed to get down soon so that we could manage time to reach Mahakali Bridge and Lingeswor. After reaching up at the parking area we met with the driver then we moved for light tiffin. Afterward, we speed up for Mahakali bridge but before that, we visited Sukhalaphanta National Park from the airport way.
We spent there for only 15 minutes snapping pictures along with collecting brochures from the office. Afterward, we got back to auto and depart for Mahakali Bridge. It took 40 minutes to reach Gaddachauki from Sukhalphanta then the driver informed us to get in the bridge by walking or from another auto. While we were moving we received a call from Maiti Nepal booth they took us to the booth and began the interrogation. We showed up our ID card and license but still, they were interrogating suspiciously. We cleared out everything but they were not convinced and after their discussion they allowed us to move ahead. I was so stunned to get such suspicious interrogation and being curious I asked Woosha why they suspected in such manner even we were being honest to them. She answered that it was for our security. But I was not convincing. I replied,” It is not good in fact safe to walk boy and girl in the border area.” She was not answering me and being silent we moved forward for Mahakali Bridge. I saw women were carrying goods from India border along with I saw India gate and custom office in Nepalese territory. I was so surprised to view that I was feeling why we were dominated by India. There was strict security checking process for Nepalese. I found we are being treated as refugees or beggars. I   was not feeling good since the suspicious interrogation from the Maiti Nepal booth. It took 35 minutes to reach the endpoint of Mahakali Bridge and Woosha informed showing up the canal that was belonged to India and meanwhile what Nepal. India received 10 canals where Nepal received only 1 canal from the Mahakali river. While I was middle of the bridge I found Mahakali had been blocked by the bridge I saw an overflow of getting blocked by a dam which was built by the British in 1928.

It was so fascinating to view the Mahakali riverside by there was the pain of getting domination. At the endpoint of the bridge, I viewed the wideness of canal flowing River of Mahakali River in India seemed like a river but in Nepal, it seemed like only a dam. I informed Woosha to get in our land soon because I was feeling as I was in detention so we speed to get back in Nepal side. I was not fresh until we reached the Nepal side and automatically mood changed. I felt good to breathe in Nepalese air and before crossing Gaddchauki I snapped pictures for memories then we moved on in search of our auto (610 number plates). I was sharing my experience with Woosha. In order to change my mind, she described our upcoming destination i.e Sidhalingeswor. It was 5.6 km far from Mahendra highway lied in Daiji. It took 50 minutes as predicted by the auto driver; the way was like I was traveling to Changu from Dekhocha of Bhaktapur. The destination seemed like rocks of mustang and as we got nearer we found that rocks were under the process of being soil. I found such peace in my mind which motivated to be happy from the peaceful environment.
We spent there for about 20 minutes. Woosha informed us we must reach the highway within 6 pm so that we could get a bus back to Sukkkhad. We snapped our pictures before getting down I was enjoying the moment and at 5:20 we departed to the highway. Our speed of auto was being higher so that we could get down before dusk and we reached highway 10 minutes earlier then we predicted the time. Before adjourning with the driver we cleared our bill and took pictures for memories with Prem Khadka the auto driver. We were so happy to choose the understandable driver. He supported and advised whenever we were in the problem.
Afterward, we caught up Hiace van to get back to Attrariya. I was enjoying the travel which reminded me as if I was traveling in Kotoswor, Kathmandu as well as reminded me of college time when I used to get a hurry to get the return to back home from college as soon as possible. I was recalling my whole day travel listening to my favorite songs. I was feeling so happy to be the places where I was wishing to be there. I found Woosha was getting worried about vehicles to get back to Sukkhad because it was 630pm when we reached Aattariya. Reaching Attraiya she just walked hurriedly I asked why we were walking so hurriedly. She answered to catch up on the bus and knowing that I also ran to get the bus. But as we approached, the bus had just departed from the bus stop. Then we waited for 10 minutes for the buses but we were not getting the bus. One of the trucks was stopped by traffic police we thought for checking purpose but traffic commanded to get in the truck. We were so thankful to traffic police then Woosha just got relax that we would get home soon. Traveling in the truck was our first experience I found so good to travel in a truck. We never had traveled in a truck before. We were having good experience in a truck. Through traveling in a truck I got a chance to view its interior. We were looking at the milestone in order to know how far to reach home. I was recalling day and night travel on the same road which was quite different from unexpected experiences. I felt morning travel was lengthy with despair but evening travel was short even relax due to darkness and unknown about where we were currently passing by the road. While we were returning we worried that road might get blocked if last day accident had not solved but we found everything was normal when we reached the accidental area. Sukkhad was 8 km far from the accidental area so we felt relief that we were going to reach home on time. Traveling for one hour from Attariya then stepped down at Sukkhad where it was 700 m walk from the main road to reach home. Before moving home we got into the hotel in order to buy chicken curry. While the curry was getting ready I became busy browsing Facebook after two days which had added good memories in my travel. I posted my pictures and used Facebook for 30minutes then we got ready to move for home. After reaching home we became fresh in order to have our dinner. I was sharing my experiences and last night dinner at a homestay which was nice and hoping that I requested Woosha to serve me dinner soon. But I was surprised to have hard meat of Pyron breed. I just became sad that my excitement level diminished to zero. Woosha was surprised to view my reaction. As to console, she told me to offer delicious lunch the next day. I just shook my head and had dinner being silent. Then after I went to my room for sleep and before sleep, I wrote up my daily experiences listening to songs and at 9 pm I stopped my pen and went to bed.
This was the third day of my travel which was the busiest day I visited the places where I was wishing to visit along with additional places due to plenty of time. The whole day was full of pressure with joy from the earlier in the morning tonight. I was so happy to have better experiences within the time frame.

Day 4 2019 Nov 5 Tuesday

Ø  Sukkhad - Karnali Bridge - Bardiya National park
It was my fourth day and probably the last of the trip. Today I was moving for the last destination of trip i.e Bardiya national park, the home of the tiger. Yesterday was the busiest day of my trip. I was exhausted due to traveling for the whole day. Therefore I was expecting good sleep but I didn’t have it due to fog dropping from leaves of trees of Woosha’s house. It was like heavy rainfall so it disturbed me whole night due to which I was sleepless but kept my eyes close insisting so that I could have rest. I was waiting for the morning because I could go outside to enjoy the morning view. At 6 am I went outside but surrounding was covered with heavy fog then I returned to my room and began to use 100MB that I got free from ncell after recharging Nrs 100s.I was feeling relieved to have a 100MB package of the internet which made me easy to spend time with fun. At 630 am Woosha brought tea for me I took the first sip which tasted like excessive sugar but as I sipped continuously and I found it…. good. I felt like Horlicks so I moved to meet her for getting extra tea but she was missing. I sat on the chair and thought about Kathmandu and Kailai lifestyles which were totally different than I expected for it. I was walking nearby pond to view the surrounding but due to unchanged weather, I returned to the room and began to write travel experience in my daily diary. As per last night's discussion, Woosha was getting ready to make delicious lunch for me and she even informed she was cooking Ghongi (snail) for me as well as chicken curry. As I saw chicken I requested her so that I could cook chicken. She noticed my interest when we had lunch offered by Goma madam during the time we were as an intern at the airport. I liked to cook chicken so in order to cook it I checked the required ingredient and I found chicken spice was missing. So I went market to buy it.I was enjoying the morning walk and surroundings. I felt I was on my farm because I was having the same feeling which I used to have whenever I used to visit my field farm in my town. At 9 am we began to cook lunch for us. I was feeling good that I cooked chicken in my own way and while cooking was going on we were discussing today’s plan and I was waiting for her brother who was going to take me Bardia national park. I was expecting he would be junior to me but I was happy when Eoosha informed me that he was much more jolly than me. His name was Hitten and he was police and his posting was in Sanepa, Kathmandu. After chicken got ready we had our lunch so that we could move the national park on time. I tasted ghungi (snail)for the first time which tasted like raw meat so I stopped to have it but have a good lunch with chicken curry. At 10 am we departed for the national park which was 50 km far from Sukkhad. We were traveling via Mahendra highway before that we filled the petrol for a scooter. Then we sped up to reach Bardiya national park. While we were traveling I saw the welcome and thank you for the hoarding board so I decided I should take pictures after we returned from Bardiya national park. We took a short break where I found such peace in mind that I requested Hitten to have more rest to get sound sleep. But Hitten replied with fun that I could if I wanted to be prey -a dinner of a tiger. Hearing about tiger I just agreed to move on and hurriedly got into a scooter. After a few kilometers, we reached Karnali Bridge but didn’t stop over there and kept on moving. I saw lots of visitors taking pictures over the bridge and enjoying the scene of flowing Karnali. I had never seen such a huge river water flow expect river of the western region. Whenever I used to see a river I thought to take water to my home but it was impossible. Knowing this Hitten consoled me that Melamchi was coming soon to Kathmandu which would somehow reduce water problems. I was enjoying the green-blue water of Karnali and after crossing bridge, we reached check post where we were handed a slip of time limit traveling 40km per hour. We had to reach the next checkpoint within 22-27 minutes it is because most wilds animals’ usually cross the road in between this distance. It seemed like a sensitive area for a wild animal as we were traveling we saw a couple of squirrels and deer. While we were an insensitive area I was worried that the tiger might attack from the side because we were traveling at a slow speed that we were getting bore. I was worried but it was my only fear.  It is because one could view a tiger while crossing the road in rare cases only. We took 27 minutes to reach the next checkpoint then after onward we sped up. At 1 pm we reached Bardiya national park but I was surprised to have nothing which I was expecting found Bardiya better than other national parks.I was searching for a wood signboard like in Sukhklaphanta but I was not able to find. With high expectations, I entered the national park taking a ticket. It was a zoo. Firstly we moved to the crocodile breeding area then after we moved to the elephant and rhino chamber. We were unable to view the elephant but got a chance to view rhino name Vikram.Hitten informed me that there used to be a tiger in a cage so I hurriedly moved to cage but I didn’t see it. I returned back to the rhino shed. Many local people were there to view Vikram and they were explaining that one of his eyes was broken by villagers while he was at the farm of villagers and one of the friends was killed during confront between villager and rhino.
Grandmother was calling him Vikram Vikram with love but he was busy having grasses. She even explained that Vikram was tamed over here after making him tempting as well as offering his favorite grasses from the confrontation area so that he could be saved. We were watching from the stairs of offices, Vikram was not in the mood to move so everyone got down but I was wishing him to move so that I could see him with the whole body. I waited for him for 10 minutes, then he moved to the other side. I found that one of his eyes was broken. This made me confirm that it was a fact what grandmother was explaining while we were at the stairs of the office. We were unable to view the tiger so we moved to visitors’ information where we received information about the tiger and elephant which was written in pictures. Afterward, we moved to the Tharu museum where Hitten described his typical ornaments, utensils, and other tradition followed by the Tharu community.
Spending 30 minutes we got off from the national park to take pictures at the gate. I was unable to find a wooden board so I took pictures at the gate of the national park. Hitten was getting busy on the phone with samdhini. I was confused about what samadhi meant and samdhini and who he or she was. Hitten replied that samdhini meant friend and he even informed that we were going his home. Snapping pictures we moved to his samadhini home which was a nearby national park. I was so excited to meet his samadhi and samdhini in the home. We were welcomed by his samdhini’s father and I kept waiting for his samdhi or samadhini. I waited for 30 minutes for his Samdhi then I was in such a dilemma asking Hitten to whom we were waiting for and he replied samadhi meant my friend who was the same as him- police who was in another district as his posting. I was surprised to hear then I asked with whom we were going to meet. He answered with his father and mother. After getting clear I kept quiet for minutes then we took to the room where we were served with wine, spinach, and chicken. I was thirst so I took the glass thinking that it must be water but when I saw it look different. I asked Hitten if this was water or something else. He replied being cheerful that yes…. it was water but distilled. Oh my god and I asked that we were going to drink it and he answered yes and you should. I denied but he described its Tharu culture and I replied it as like Newar community but we used to serve in a tiny terracotta clay cup. They were much more known about the Newar community and most of our tradition was similar to each other. I requested samadhini of Hitten to make it half but she removed only 25percentt from the glass. I was feeling so awkward because one must drink it if anyone denied then it seemed as being disrespectful to them. We took a permit to drink after having a sip of wine. I felt burning in my chest but I found it was lighter than Newar wine. They began to conversant about their personal and current situation in the country. They were disappointed with the current situation; they were hopeless for changes but wishing for a better future for their upcoming generations. I was stunned to hear about their problems which motivated me to drink with pain. Hiten and his samadhi father were sharing the moments where I was worried to drink it. I was enjoying the chicken in order to wash out the remaining wine of the glass. It took me 15 minutes to vacant it and I feel so free after I drank the remaining wine of glass. But as I emptied the glass, samdhinin found my glass empty and she added winemaking it full. I was staring at Hitten. He replied please had it because it was our tradition to fill the vacant glass? I neither laughed nor cried but my face was showing what I was feeling right now because my face was getting redness and everyone knew that I was done. I explained my tradition and travel experience and they had good entertained by my Newar ascent and jolly face. Everyone was enjoying my action due to which I felt awkward and kept quiet for minutes and Hitten spoke with fun why I was silent or I was wishing for some wine.Samadhini was ready to serve wine for me. I hid glass speaking it was enough in Tharu language “pugli” which meant I was done but not again laughed broke out. I was remembering the warning given by Woosha that he might even make me drunk and I was really drunk. I was heating from the wine which made me uncomfortable to cope with Hitten. Their conversation took place up to 2:30 pm then I requested Hitten to move on for Sukkhad. He was not in the mood to leave his samadhi home but for the sake of my happiness, we decided to depart from there. We began our travel discussing the current political situation, we were silent until we reached the Mahendra highway. He spoke this was the main reason why we used to visit Kathmandu or even for foreign employment and I knew that due to lack of basic facilities local people usually wished to visit Kathmandu for in search of their better life. He was hoping that local government might bring something change that would change the life of local people over there.
We were traveling in hangover and I was enjoying the moments’. I asked curiously whether he was fit to drive. He replied with laugh hahaha. I was the man who could drink a gallon of wine if we didn’t have to return. I was stunned and had mood-changing laughed but was worried that the police might know when we would approach for posting. He answered with fun that he had a trick to get off from them then I just enjoyed the moments. Traveling we reached check post and as like before we got slip which had to complete within 22-27 minutes. I was enjoying the ride but had a fear that if we got a chance to view tiger crossing the road what should we had to do Hitten answered just chant ram ram and sped up as much we can. But it was a rare case to view tiger crossing the road and as like before we saw the squirrel at the side of the road. While we were returning I informed that we would get down at Karnali Bridge for snapping pictures and even at welcome and thank you for hoarding board.
As we crossed the sensitive area we sped up and from the checkpoint, it just took 30 minutes to reach to Karnali Bridge. We were 30 minutes late then our expected time we reached there at 5pm. I was sure that I might not have good pictures at the hoarding board but I had good pictures at the Karnali bridge which was better than the first-day snap. Then after 12 minutes ride, we reached the place where I was wishing to take a last final picture.
I  was excited to take pictures but I was getting sad too because my travel was nearly over and tomorrow I was getting back home. After snapping I kept quiet and Hitten knew that I was getting mood off. In order to change my mind offers me pork. I was not answering him and in order to divert the mind, I was recalling my whole trip. I was comparing bus travel and scooter ride which was vastly different experiences. It took one to reach Sukkhad from the place where we took our last pictures. Reaching up Sukkhad we moved to local pork hotel to have pork. We had 3 plates of pork which was excessive for me but it was nothing for Hitten. I was not getting rid out from the previous drink and we increased our hangover having another beer along with pork. After sending 40 minutes I requested him to move on for home and we departed for a home being double hangover than before. We reached home at 8:30 pm as reaching home I found two robust guys. I thought he might be the brother of Woosha. As we approached him Hitten described him he was the one who acted like Rajesh Hamal and Amitabh Bacchan of Tharu movies. Knowing him he was an actor I asked him questions if he was still acting as an actor but he denied that he had left the movies industry 10 years ago. I was so happy that he co-operated with me being friendly. As I was conversating with him Hitten bought another jar of wine. I answered him it was enough but he handed over me a glass of wine to keep the respect of his cultures. Conversation for 15 minutes we began our dinner and I found everyone was enjoying the dinner but when ashram informed that tiger killed villagers at the same time when we were at the national park then we got stunned hearing it. I shared my whole experiences as well as spoke out two Tharu words (thik baa –it’s ok and ram ram- namaste). They were enjoying my conversation being hangover and after dinner, prem left for his home and us three began our conversation but as soon as we began our conversation he got a call from his home so he even left us. I was exhausted from today as well as previous day travel therefore I was wishing for sound sleep. I informed Woosha about the ticket. She replied to tell me tomorrow early in the morning. She informed me I had to go to the ticket counter in order to get a ticket and hoping that I stopped discussing a ticket. Meanwhile, before getting to room, we discussed whole travel than we created an itinerary regarding the trip and it took us one hour to finalize it. I was wishing next visit would be with my friend which would be funnier than this visit and after completion of discussion, I moved for rest in my room.
This was the fourth day probably the last day of the trip. Today I visited Bardiya national park which was my last destination of the trip. I found we should be in a group while visiting the national park and I was wishing to be here with pals in my next visit. Today I traveled via scooter which added another new experience in the travel experience and this day was full fun being hangover.

 Day 5-6 2019 Nov 6-7 Wednesday-Thursday

Ø  Sukkhad-Kathmandu-Bhaktapur
This was the fifth day at Terai as well as the sixth day of the trip which began as the previous morning day. I woke up at 5am because I didn’t have sound sleep like before due to fog dropping from leaves of trees of Woosha house. It was like heavy rainfall. It disturbed me due to which I was sleepless for the whole night but kept close my eyes so that I could have enough rest. I was waiting for the morning so that I could get outside to enjoy the morning view but thick fog lead me to get back into the room. Then getting inside I began to write my remaining daily travel experiences. I wrote it for one hour and at 6 am Woosha brought tea to me. As she brought tea, I hurriedly had it expecting that it'd taste like the previous day. To my despair, tea was sour and tasting like spicy. Viewing my reaction she hurriedly brought another tea but it didn’t meet taste like yesterday morning tea. This was going to be my last meeting with Woosha because after onward I was returning Kathmandu alone.
At 7 am I went to visit a local hotel in search of the internet with Nabin bk, younger brother of Woosha. He escorted me to a hotel where I could have intent before getting a password. We ordered breakfast; did not get good behavior from the owner. they were acting as I came to robbed his hotel while I was asking for wifi password and after getting a password I got busy posting pictures in social media. At 9:30 am we got back home and I requested Woosha for a ticket and she immediately ordered his brother to take me to the ticket counter. Without any objection, Asaram took me to the ticket counter but we failed to get a ticket. Ticket seller consoled me to return back at 2 pm for a ticket till then he promised me to manage the ticket. We returned the home and informed Woosha that I didn’t cut the ticket. She was acting as if I was joking but when Asaram confirmed she got surprised, asked for a reason, and even informed me to visit the ticket counter again. From the first day, I have warned my driver to book a ticket early because he informed me that the bus might be full while returning to Kathmandu. I packed my bag to move on but I was in despair because if I didn’t get the ticket I had to return back which wasn’t as per my trip plan. I had plenty of time so I hanged out with Woosha to pluck fruits and flowers.Woosha's brother urged me to stay today and booked a ticket for me. But I denied and wished to move on the same day which I was planning as per my trip plan. Carrying bag I moved to Woosha's brother's office for using the internet to spend the remaining time. I was there for one hour then I began to feel worried so at 12;30 pm I moved to the ticket counter for a ticket. As I got, I felt the ticket seller was waiting for me because he quickly handed over tickets as reaching there. I was so happy to get a ticket and I phoned Woosha informing me that I got the ticket. She informed to be alert while getting into the bus and should carry tickets each time in order to get allocated a seat. I felt so relieved after getting a ticket but I still had two hours 30 minutes left to get into a bus. In order to spend time, I went to a local shop for light tiffin and began to write my today travel experiences. I spent there for one hour and at 2 pm I got off at the bus stop in order to get the bus. I found many people were waiting for the bus. I was enjoying the moments of being a solo traveler. I interacted with other passengers in order to spend the time. As per the ticket bus had to come at 2;30 pm but it got only at 3pm due to this I had to roam the local area. The crowd was decreasing and when our bus arrived the whole area turned to vacant. I felt so happy to travel in the bus cabin along with the driver. I was wishing to experience from the first day but I didn’t get due to over bus staff inside the bus cabin. But this time I get the chance to seat in a cabin I was enjoying the moments which were waiting for it. I was wishing to sit over the cabin so that I could view tiger if luck favor, I'd get a chance to view while crossing the road but we viewed jackal instead of the tiger. I was interacting with the driver, he informed me that he saw a tiger just the day before yesterday in the sensitive area. I was so happy to hear that but feeling bad from inside because I was unable to view it. As night was rising up the traveling went on thrill because we were traveling basing on bus beam light. I stayed awake until and unless forest area road crossed I was having a good experience which I was getting from the time I got into the bus. At 8 pm we stopped at the highway hotel where we were the first bus to reach over there. As reaching there I asked the bus driver how long we would be here. He answered we were not staying there for more than twenty minutes because other buses were coming to the same hotel for dinner. Hearing this I had my dinner quickly and  I was surprised that I could not see my bus mates because the hotel was getting overcrowd then I  began to search the co-driver of the bus where he was enjoying his dinner then I was relaxed after meeting him. I waited for him to get on the bus but he was slightly busy so I went to the bus and got into the passenger area instead of a cabin. Everyone got into the bus in their respective seat and before moving, the co-driver came to look for me because I wasn’t in-cabin seat and, meeting me he ordered the driver to move on. Twins were sleeping in my seat so instead of disturbing them, I slept over the bus floor. I was not having sleeping so I interacted with passengers they all were from Doti. We discussed 30 minutes and as the driver switched off the light we stopped our discussion. Everyone was sleeping but I wasn’t so I began to write my travel experience lighting up lighter light. I wrote it for one hour and at 10 pm I closed down my pen for getting sleep. I was having good sleep than the previous day. I was wishing to lie on the bus floor from the first day I got into the bus but I was unable due to lots of things on the bus. But this time the bus floor was vacant. Other passengers even joined me to have good sleep. I was enjoying the night travel listening to my favorite songs. I was singing songs. A listening song I heard that somebody was laughing although I didn’t stop singing but sang it in light sound. At 12 am we found our bus at Rupandehi which meant we had crossed Lumbini. I found everyone was feeling sleepy and tired but I was surprised the driver was still fresh. I moved on the driver for conversation and asked about freshness. He answered simply that it had been their part of life and it’s the time to earn extra than before. Hearing up I was motivated that one must be honest towards his duty and work. After 3o minutes break, we began our travel and I slept for 5 hours. In the morning, we were at Ramnagar of Chitwan where we spent another 30 minutes as a break. I  was feeling good that I had good  sleep and even were very close to Kathmandu.I was calculating time and wished to be at home at 12pm if there wouldn’t be any bus problem during travel and after getting Kathmandu too. We began to move on from Mugling and reaching Mugling passengers slowly began to get down as per their destination. I listened to my favorite songs and recalling the travel moments which I had experienced in the previous day. I phoned Woosha, Aashib, and even at home that I had arrived at Mugling. I was feeling happy that I was going to reach home after 4 days but my excitement was diminishing when traffic began to increase. Some passengers got off from the bus thinking that traffic jams might be for a long period. So they moved to roam the market. But they didn’t notice that the bus was moving on and they had run about 300 to catch the bus and this was continuous for thrice in the same manner which made it so fun for other passengers. After crossing Thankot check post, our bus speed rose up and we reached Kalanki at 10 pm. Then we everyone got stunned when the bus informed that they were not going for Bus Park due to which everyone had to get down at Bafal. As I was getting off from the bus I phoned Woosha that I was on the way home, and I caught up the bus to reach Bus Park from where I could get a bus for Bhaktapur. The bus which I caught had taken about 45 minutes to reach the bus park from Bafal due to this my calculation went wrong and I was sure that I was not reaching home at 12 pm. As reaching the bus park area, I waited for a bus for 15 minutes due to which I was sure that I would reach home lately. I was feeling hotter than terai. I was getting exhaustion from pollution and overcrowding. Waiting for 15 minutes, the bus came then I felt relaxed. I was viewing the surrounding and comparing the surrounding with terai I found peace in terai where Kathmandu surrounding was full of pollution and noise but even though people loved to be here instead of peaceful. It is because of the availability of basic needs and other amenities. I was writing and completing my travel experiences in order to make it a blog. It took one hour 50 minutes to reach home. It meant at 12:50PM I reached home. Reaching home I phoned Woosha that I arrived home. And that was the way how my travel ended.
This was my last day where my travel ended after reaching home. It took me 20 hrs to reach home Sukkhad. It was a memorable journey which would be one of the best parts of my life. I wished in the next visit I would be visiting with my pals so that I could have much more fun than this trip. I liked to refer to people whoever wishing to visit over here because this is the place which should be visited by peace and nature lover in affordable price. I found this region is full of tourism possibilities and it just required better promotion and leadership for the overall development of the tourism industry.
